**Q: Would this work on the bolts that hold yhe toilet seat? Cannot replace toilet seat as bolts just spin**
A: Possibly, depends on the diameter of the bolts.  If the seat bolts are plastic like on American Standard toilets I would say no,  if the are metal like on most Kohler toilets, I would say yes because the seat bolts are probably around 1/4".  This tool is designed to keep 1/4" toilet flange bolts from spinning while you are trying to remove the nut that holds the toilet to the flange.  This tool works very well for this.
