Bought this for my cousins son who is 5 and it was pretty cool! It is remote control which I clearly didn’t read the description well so it was a nice surprise to find that out. He played with it for quite some time and it transforms with the remote easily.

This was the perfect gift for my little guy. The car had speed and transformed just like in the movies. The controls made it easy for a 5 yr old to operate!

This is an easy-to-use RC car with a special "transforming" feature that would be great for a youngster. The controls are very simple - with a stick for forward/backward and a stick for left-right. Input to the car is not proportional - you must push the sticks all the way to the end to turn on that feature (i.e., there is only one speed). The car turns using the back wheels (the front wheels do not really matter). Transforming is a continuous action - by holding down the button, it transforms to a robot and back to a car. It can still be driving as a robot. Finally, the car comes with a rechargeable battery and a charger. Unfortunately, the battery needs to be removed from the unit to be charged - but, this is probably preferred for a small child. The remote requires two AA batteries (not included).

Functioality didnt work to well. Toy broke while trying to tranform it into the car.

Fun to play with. Very easy for my grandson to operate at 4 years old. Wish I had transformers like this when I was a kid.
