Okaaay, this one's a charmer. Bought for "Candle in the Window" Day. Exactly what I was looking for, there's two modes: dancing and solid white. The dancing orange speed of the flame can be adjusted.... turn the dial on slow and it flickers less, turn the dial on high and it throws the flame all over the place, to replicate a windy night. I do like the low setting as it's more realistic, natural and calm - it will still flicker as if there's no wind.One reviewer said they had trouble getting to change modes between dance and solid. Mine has no issue, you just turn all the way down like you're turning it off, and gently 'almost moving it to off' position, it will change its setting to solid. Do the same process and it changes back to dancing. You can also adjust the white solid from low to high. These are so lightweight, and decoratively pleasing, with two ways to recharge, and no batteries! Cutest thing I've bought in awhile that really works nice. Versatile for camping or an outdoor party. If you've been looking at other sets of these and can't decide.... this is the one!

Love these lanterns! We have four in our yard. I bought a pair for Christmas exchange last year and they were a hit!

Works good. Like being able to change the light modes. Also like that they are not just solor and can be recharged through USB.They seem to hold a good charge.Haven't used them in the weather so not sure how well they would hold up.I gave 4 stars of the fact they are made out of plastic, I would have like them in metal.But overall a good product.If you have them in the on position they will only come on when it is dark enough for them plugged in or not.It's a soft light so not really bright but bright enough for sitting outside on a porch.

I’ve only had these lights for about a month but boy do they work well. They look like old oil lamps and throw off a good amount of light. A good value for the pair, I’ll probably be buying another set for our camp.

These lights do NOT turn on automatically when it gets dark. You have to go outside and turn them on every day. Very annoying if you are looking for ambiance. I do not recommend these lights for that reason.

The media could not be loaded. These are a great value for a set of two! They charge up wonderfully in the sun and have an on/off switch or you can just turn on switch and leave on because it has a time of day sensor that kicks them on at dark each night!! Love the option of white light or an amber colored light with flicker fire look for realistic lantern look. I got compliments all night on them in my sweet treats booth set up!! No set up required. Pull out of box and set in sun to charge! Durable plastic that doesn’t look cheap! This is our second set of these. The other set we have up at our cabin and has lasted for 2 years. We leave them on all the time never touch them and they still work like the day we got them!! Buy these!!

Pretty cheaply made. All thin plastic. Every night when it comes on it's in flame mode, I prefer the plain white light so I change it but when it turns on the next night it's back to flame mode.
