Bumbu Rum, 70cl

Absolutely love this rum, so I was in the market for a nice rum I could drink easily, appriate the taste and just have something new to try apart from all the other rums out there you can easily by in a supermarket. So this bumbu rum ticks all the boxes and is absolutely amazing stuff, easy to drink, smooth, flavoursome. For me it tatse mad smells like bananas. Trust me people you will not want to waste this rum by adding coke, strait is the way forward hear.

This rum is my new favourite drink of all time. It has caramel and banana flavours and is incredibly drinkable just poured into a glass, over ice. I could drink a whole bottle of this stuff if I had a spare liver! The flavours are delicious and moreish. It's so smooth and just hits the spot perfectly. I was in two minds about buying it because it was so expensive and lots of people had said it wasn't a spiced rum. Well it could be a spiced rum, but it's even better. I like Black Magic and my husband loves Dead Man's Fingers, but we both agree that this rum is far superior to both. We've tried quite a few spiced rums now and this one beats them all, although technically I think it's a sipping rum rather than a spiced rum. Definitely recommend it! If you like rum as a drink on its own, try this one. Not one to waste with coke dilution, but one to sip and savour, and enjoy by the fire.

Bumbu : 4.7 / 5 Spiced but sweet. A lightly spiced vanilla flavoured rum which blends well with coke but especially with ginger ale and ice.. Dark and Stormy! One for the nice hot weather which we are being treated to currently and it gives off a delightful refreshing flavour.. Is it better than kraken I hear you say? For day time drinking, I would say so... however if you plan to be tearing up any UK dance floor, I would edge towards a spicy Kraken. Buy Bumbu for the summer vibes, you won’t be let down..

A lovely tasting rum. I was initially cautious of the hype behind this rum but decided to give it a try. I'm over the moon I did. It is without doubt one of the best well balanced rums I have ever tasted. It has no harsh meth tastes and has really nice hints of banana (which I don't normally like) and vanilla. Perfect for sipping straight and mixes brilliantly with coke. Definitely worth the price, you won't be disappointed!

I bought this for my husband as a gift. I wasn’t keen on trying it as it says on the bottle that it has a banana taste. But I did try it and I couldn’t really taste it. In fact, it is one of the nicest and smoothest rums’ I’ve ever tasted. Slightly more expensive than I’d normally pay for rum but as a special gift it was worth it.

Bumbu rum was just one of many random rums I have purchased over the years and what a great buy it was!! I wasn't expecting anything special from my purchase but when I first opened the bottle the aroma was extremely pleasant, I couldn't wait to give it a sip at room temperature. Bumbu is full of fruity candied (sweet) flavour and very easy to drink so much so that my first bottle only lasted a couple days. I've shared this rum with various people some who don't enjoy or know much about rum and the majority of people have been blown away by how good it is. If your more into smoky or not so sweet rums this may not be to your taste. I really like the presentation of the bottle and it can be used after for a great looking fairy light bottle.

I have appreciated rum for many years and have enjoyed trying most on the market. I usually drink the stronger darker ones and rarely touched the spiced varieties however after being bought this as a present I was very impressed. This is, in my opinion, one of the best out there. Fantastic taste, drank my first bottle over ice then the second and third (in the following weeks) just neat. The ice just dilutes the superb flavours. This is an amazing sipping rum and great value for money. Be warned tho an open bottle is an empty one !

An intriguing rum. I once had this in a bar and I was blown away by the banana and vanilla flavour this rum is packing. Well worth a buy to add to a varied collection of rums.

Quando l’ho aperto la prima impressione è stata subito quella di un rum diverso dal solito. Non è secco o aggressivo: è molto profumato, quasi “goloso”, con un aroma che ricorda banana, vaniglia e caramello già dal primo versamento nel bicchiere. Prime impressioni La bottiglia è molto scenica, pesante e con un design che colpisce subito. Nel bicchiere il colore è caldo, ambrato scuro, e il profumo è intenso e dolce. Già da qui si capisce che non è un rum tradizionale da miscelazione, ma qualcosa da bere lentamente. Uso e degustazione L’ho provato principalmente liscio, magari con un po’ di ghiaccio. È molto facile da bere: scende morbido, senza “bruciore” forte di alcol. Il gusto è chiaramente dolce: banana matura, vaniglia, zucchero di canna, caramello e note speziate leggere. È quasi più vicino a un liquore che a un rum secco classico. Cosa funziona bene Il punto forte è proprio la morbidezza: è uno di quei rum che anche chi non è abituato agli alcolici forti riesce a bere senza problemi. Anche l’aroma è molto riconoscibile e piacevole se si cercano sapori dolci e rotondi. È perfetto da bere da solo, senza complicazioni, oppure per chi vuole qualcosa di “facile” dopo cena. Molti lo apprezzano proprio per questo profilo molto dolce e immediato, con note di banana, vaniglia e caramello. Cosa convince meno Se cerchi un rum secco, complesso o da degustazione seria, qui rimani un po’ deluso. È molto dolce e può risultare quasi stucchevole dopo un po’. Inoltre non ha quella profondità tipica dei rum più “classici”: è più diretto, più semplice, e questo per alcuni è un limite. In generale È un rum pensato per essere facile, dolce e piacevole da bere senza pensarci troppo. Perfetto per chi ama sapori morbidi e dessert-like, meno adatto agli appassionati che cercano carattere e struttura.

O Bumbu é sempre a primeira escolha de rum, com um sabor distinto que nunca desilude e sabe sempre bem, sabor a especiarias, perfeito !

Acheté lors d'une vente flash , c'est le prix qui l'a décidé à essayer ce rhum que je ne connaissais absolument pas. La livraison à encore une fois été très rapide de la part d'Amazon. Le colis était parfaitement emballé et la bouteille était correctement protégée. La bouteille est très jolie et relativement original avec son bouchon en liège qui protège le précieux liquide. Ce rhum n'est pas très fort, il contient 35 degrés d'alcool, c'est loin des rhum à 50 ou 55 degrés. Au goût, il passe très bien. Il est assez sucré ce qui en fiit un très bon apéritif. Je pense qu'il va rapidement s'imposer chez moi en tant que rhum numéro 1. À boire sans additif point il ne faut surtout pas rajouter du jus d'orange ou autre pour ne pas gâcher le goût
