FLAW IN DESIGN. REQUIRES MODIFICATIONS TO WORK. But it does function after change was made.
It does not work with a 2005 RXP Seadoo without modifications. I hate giving out anything less than a 4 star on any product but I feel I need to be honest about this purchase. The housing near the mounting holes is not properly molded which means your hardware will not fit without cutting the plastic housing. In fact I do not know how it could work with any model without alterations.I gave it a 3 star because after cutting the plastic housing back away from the bolt holes I was able to get squeeze by just enough to get a bolt installed. I had to apply marine sealer on the housing as it required major changes and cutting open a small hole in the plastic housing. I don't know if leaving the hole would have hurt the electric motor but I figured it was better to be safe than sorry.In the end after alterations were made it did work. So if your looking for a functional part this item does work well once it has been modified. Just do not expect a simple swap out.
