If you have the need for a 12V extension cable that terminates into a 5.5mm x 2.1mm plug, this is a good cable for you. The part that plugs into the car is fused (10A) and contains a red LED which shows when the cable has power. This cable also comes with an adapter which plugs into the end of this cable, making it fit a 7.9mm x 5.5mm plug. The power cord is a little over six and a half feet long and the wire is of nice quality. I actually ended up cutting the barrel plug end off of this cable, as I needed a six foot long 12V extension that I could solder to a device, and this product was great for that.

I have a 30 W trickle charger, but it had came with no cigarette lighter plug to charge my car. This kit solves the problem. It has a Nice sturdy plug end complete with red light to alert me that it is making good contact with a live circuit, and has a barrel end reducer to fit the small connector on my solar panel. Cable is sufficient length to run from my car charging port to my rooftop for trickle charging.

Update: Left the battery/charger rig in my car and it charged the battery to 100% with just my 10 minutes here and there driving routine.Acquired this to replace a lost 12V charger for my To Go power bank. 7.9 mm adaptor works fine, delivers wattage. The battery's display takes several minutes to 'calibrate' itself so the 7+ hours to charge will probably drop to 3 or 4 after a few minutes.I only tested for a few minutes to make sure it charges (battery does pass through and a better test would be to see how quickly the battery charges while running the refrigerator - however, waiting on a new thermostat for the fridge).Very strong springs on the 12V plug. The 18 gauge is a little overkill, the cord is quite stiff out of the package, but it is 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙡𝙮 the replacement I needed and is much better constructed than the original supplied with the power bank. Love the fact that it has a replaceable fuse and is reasonably priced.Should be 4.5*, the 18 awg is a bit overkill.

I needed something for an 8mm port, and this has the option of both the 8mm and 5.5mm. There's also an inline fuse, which is very touchy and easy to blow! A few extra fuses come with this, and when there's power to the cable the light comes on at the female cig lighter end.

I did not want to hard wire the backup camera until I was satisfied it would work for me, so looked for a temporary solution. The backup camera had a DC connector to it, so this cable worked perfectly for me! Simple solution that works, 5 stars!
