I will say the spoon is very hefty and well built. The scoop is large enough to use only two scoops, very piled, for my 14 cup coffee maker. I like it. May not be your answer if you aren' fond of heavy items to use for things like this but I find holding it is not bad and I like it is not flimsy and feeling like it will break. Enjoy, does it's job.

What's not to like? These coffee scoop are perfect. The wide flat handle makes it easy to hold while scooping the coffee. The spoons are a heavy stainless steel, and are dishwasher safe. I use small cannisters, so I like the short handles. The sizes are clearly marked. The small one is a good size to fill reusable Kcups without spilling the coffee grinds all over the counter.

I like this style of scoop (as long as you need this size). They are very sturdy, made of thick steel with no joins or narrow handles to bend. Since they have short handles, they are great for scoops to keep in containers. For cooking and baking I use a set with multiple sizes, but these are perfect for the things that you use by the tablespoon. This type of spoon comes with some nut milk makers, and works very well for that (but would also be good for coffee).

These do a great job for what they're made for! Simple and sturdy.
