Aquascape AQSC Lazy Frog Fountain with Pump

pump is cheap, quit working after I changed water in pond. Turned off power, then I took out this pump and my bigger one, cleaned pond and replaced water then pumps, turned them on, this one did nothing. It barely spits water, this picture is not a true depiction of this pump's power. Frog is simple design, will get another stronger pump and try that.

Second time I have bought this fixture. First time it lasted one summer. Brought it out for 2nd summer and motor was dead. Purchased a second one for 2016. So far is working. We will see if it lasts more than one summer

I had such high hopes for this water feature addition, but now I am BUMMED to announce that after LESS than 3 months, the pump stopped working. No clogs, no debris. Just kaput. Buyer Beware!

Love the look. However, the pump part is not that great. I try to replace the pump but it is not easy to find a pump with right size in open to fit the tube attached with the spitter.

This is really a cute item but it's so light it needs an anchor to remain in place. And, while floating, it rolls over and drowns the frog. Can't recommend this.

Although a bit on the pricey side, I couldn't resist adding this whimsical frog spitter to my koi pond. Pros: the ordering and processing of my order was quick and easy, the product is great, minimal assembly and set up is quick and easy. Be sure you have support under the lilly pad if you want to give the illusion that the pad and frog are floating on the water's surface because it doesn't float on it's own. I used a rail flower-box holder, these you can find at any home and garden store/outlet OR if you have a pond already, it looks just as nice sitting on the pond's ledge. The only Con is that the spitter stream could use more a bit more power then what it gets from the provided pump. The nice thing is that it uses standard size tubing so if you've got a stronger pump already, you can make adjustments to fit it, and give it that extra desired spitting stream. In addition to my pond, I have a wine barrel water feature and find that because of the frog's attractiveness, I decided to make it the focus there, rather than being hidden among the plant life around the pond. Friends that have seen it, always compliment it as it is right along a walk way in the back yard. I received this product almost two months ago and have had no problems.

Although this frog spitter is cute and whimsical, it is no spitter! The pump is so weak that water barely spittles out. Don't waste your money!

lazy is right, cause the pump can not make the water spitt out. cute frog, but did not work for us.
