This is a superb kit!First of all, all the metal parts look sturdy and heavy duty, having constructed gym equipment in the past, I can't envisage any issues with this. Obviously, I can't test the hydraulic lifters, but I do note that these for the twin bed come at 400 newtons. I now think that larger beds and also vertical ones will need more newtons due to the physics: a vertical bed will need more newtons than a horizontal one, etc. I've also replaced hydraulic lifters in cars, so still can't envisage any issues.The kit comes with just about everything you need! The instruction manual is very good, with lots of pictures, and doesn't just cover installing the hardware, but also constructing the bed wood case and base too. What was really good, is that it comes with a USB stick with the PDFs on, a video etc. Even just thinking about the video, it may only be 3 minutes long, but shows which way the hydraulic lifter should be, and which bits to attach first and why - I'll always prefer a 3 min video! Also, it comes with PDF templates too if you need them, or rip the ones already printed and included in the kit. I do have a 42 inch printer, so I'm actually going to print off extras - I'm thinking one for each side, and if I stuff one up or accidentally rip it - I'm ok. And to be fair you could print them on A4.Overall, I feel really confident with this set. I think it is good quality and good value and looking forward to my build. I really liked the thoughtful approach to helping out the person fitting this: the USB, video(s), resources, tools, nick nacks, etc.

I ordered this to make a twin horizontal murphy bed in one of my rooms.You are only supplied with the kit to make it and good instructions and templates and therefore some woodwork knowledge and equipment such as a circular saw is required to construct it.The parts supplied are really great quality and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into this.It is also supplied with a usb pen drive which holds the instructions and also the templates in case you lose the ones supplied.Definitely not a kit for a beginner though and I would say you need to be a good amateur woodwork or profession to built it.Preferable is to actually pay for it to be built professionally using the parts.

I had no issues with this product. Instructions were easy to follow and I am with the quality and craftsmanship of each piece. I definitely recommend.

I have received the package and the complete set of instructions. Due to time constraints, I have not even began to assemble or even open the package. So I cannot give a review at this time other than the package has arrived and I did receive some very detailed instructions.

finally got around to putting this together with all the lumber and hardware, got to a point and the only problem is that the pistons, if I read correctly are pressurized to 800 newtons(?) and immovable. There seems to be no way to reduce the pressure or make the pistons compress at all. I've seen videos from other manufacturers showing a tool that allows you to release the pressure but no such tool was included in the box. I'm giving it 2 stars for this, everything else seemed great but I'm stuck at an impasse.Instructions are concise, hardware seems sturdy otherwise. Just the pistons are useless to me.

Good quality hardware. All the hardware needed for your project to build a queen sized murphy bed. Easy to follow instructions. Once complete, the hardware opens and closes easily and smoothly. It is not cheap hardware. It is heavy, good quality metal parts.
