Sago Tapioca Pearls from Cassava | Best for Bubble Boba Milk Tea, Non-GMO Certified, Gluten-Free, Desserts Sago Ball, Soup, or Sauce Thickening | 12 Oz Pack

I ordered these tapioca pearls to make tapioca pudding with tapioca pieces larger than the small size available in the Minute Tapioca available in the grocery stores. The size of these pearls is just right, being closer to the size you get in commercially made tapioca pudding. For the recipe I was using, I got the best result by presoaking the pearls for 30 minutes.

I was looking for the island brand the old kind of large tapioca, but this works just as well. I use it to make tapioca pudding.

I wouldn't of bought this had I known it has chemicals that can cause cancer why wasn't this put in the advertising

We bought these sago tapioca pearls because our daughter loved going to Asian dessert shops to order mango sago. At some point, we figured why not make this at home? These tapioca sago pearls are super chewy and taste just like the stuff you get at the dessert shops. Well done Cathay Kitchen, we'll be regular buyers of these products!

As celiac/gluten intolerant I cannot have wheat couscous, but this tapioca is an awesome way to still have Israeli Couscous without getting sick. This is gluten free and vegan and did not get me sick. These pearls have so many uses. I am definitely going to order more from this company going foward.

This product was great to use for a mango sago recipe. The tapioca pearls were the perfect texture and tasted delicious with the mango blend.However after making the Sago, i noticed a cancer causing label, and had to throw them out.Would not be purchasing again.WARNING: Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including Lead and Cadmium, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

Product tasted good but bag was a bit smaller than I anticipated. I'm giving this 3 starts because the bag arrived with multiple holes in it. So after opening Amazon's shipping envelope, white pearls spilled all over the floor. Again, nothing wrong with the taste. Just disappointed with the unpleasant surprise opening.
