This feeder works well for our horse. It stays hooked on the fence while she eats unlike the smaller round one we had that would end up on the ground. Very heavy duty.

Great for grain not so good for hay.
Perfect for grain or anything else other then hay. You can't even fit a flake of hay in it. Hangs on the fence well.
