The adapter includes an omnidirectional HDMI cable that connects to my laptop's HDMI output. It requires power, which it receives from my laptop through a USB-A to USB-C cable (included with the adapter). For video output, a USB-C to USB-C cable links the adapter to my monitor, while the monitor itself is powered by a separate USB-C charging block and cable. This setup works seamlessly.

My Surface Go laptop only has 1 usb C port. That runs my USB c monitor just fine. But when I need to plug in an external hard drive or any other device, I am SOL for the monitor. I have Link-up adapters that have HDMI port on them. This HDMI to USB C adapter is the perfect answer!

This does not work on a laptop when a usb-c docking station is plugged into the pc. Works fine when not plugged in. Also tested on a Nintendo switch, works fine

I'm a hardcore Linux user, and I was looking for an adapter that would just take in HDMI and turn it to thunderbolt video output for the XReal Airs. This thing is just that, and it's amazing. For the Airs at least, I notice absolutely no difference in quality, speed, or refresh rate from using this versus the thunderbolt. I can use any USB C cable I want, of any length, to power this and also put the video to the glasses. Also since this is a HDMI male end, you don't need to carry a big bulky HDMI cable, only two USB-C cables (which for many people, is what they carry on a day to day basis). The fact you can use your own cables is amazing.

I'm really happy with this adapter because not only does it do what it says but it has pretty much every feature I'd ever want for the future of using these.Conversion works great in both 1080P and 4K and I've verified that the 1080P video comes out at least 120Hz so these are ideal for the new pro variants of XR glasses. The power delivery coming from the USB C is also working correctly at least at 15w.the only issue I have is with some of the sharp edges of the box which will definitely scratch other devices in your bag. I would recommend gaff taping the edges or filing them down if that matters to you.This is a RECOMMEND!

Was looking for something to send a better quality signal to my portable mini display, and supply power all at once. This does that. It is a little bulky, but it gets the job done. I just need a second display to monitor my PC while I have the Xbox on the main display. I was getting tired of connecting the mini HDMI and a USB power supply to the monitor and not getting the output I wanted. I'm getting some decent resolution now.

So im not using this for a 4k display but i am using a 1080p 144hz display, i was curious if this would support it (cuz sometimes with these weird conversions to type c sometiems the manufacturers cheap out on any other resolution other then the ones they advertise) which it actually does support 1080p 120hz, not quite the full 144hz but good enough for what i needed it for. they should put that it does support 120hz because i was skeptical in getting it not knowing if it does 1080p at high hz. other then that the build quality is ok, it works perfectly and no weird issues with it working with different displays, highly recommend.P.S. Hey listing seller if your reading this put on your page this thing supports 1080p 120hz, itll help the gamers looking for this.

I bought it for use with Viture One XR glasses and it works great. I am able to connect a Google TV device and a Nintendo Switch without any issues. I recommend it.
