So far it's great
I can hear my voice when I talk, not the bad way but I mean it keeps you from screaming into the mic. You can connect it to both your Xbox and PC at the same time (just push the switch button to change which one it's picking up at the moment you need it.) Hopefully the thing doesn't just die like the gen 2 did. When I say die, I mean plugging it into the pc and running the app didnt even detect it was plugged in so it was literally dead after 3 weeks. Brand new too. So hopefully it doesn't do that.

A Great Headset
Absolutely love these! They auto-connect to my phones Bluetooth when powered on, and then to the Xbox or PC. I really like that because I can listen to music while gaming but if I’m streaming it doesn’t interrupt the stream. I also really like the sound coming out of the headphones, it’s got good chunky bass and really nice fidelity on the high end.I’ve tried some of the advanced features (which can be used on your Xbox with the phone app) such as the footstep enhancer. This creates a sound dip on either end of the footstep noise so that they become more noticeable, however this also lowers the sound quality because you are losing some of that reverberation. I only recommend turning that on if you want to seriously game online, otherwise keep it off for a more full sound. My biggest disappointment is I can’t tell which scroll wheel does what on the mic, so sometimes I’ll think I’m lowering volume when I’m really changing the balance between game and voice chat. They could definitely provide better audio feedback to let me know, but again this can be fixed just by opening the app and seeing what you set.My friends say the mic sounds way better than my last one, and the flip -up to mute is easy and fast.

A review for console players
So allow me to start this off by saying im an extremely competitive gamer but I only play on PS5. This is possibly the best headset I've ever gotten. I play on PS5 and a MASSIVE problem on PS is the party chat system where it doesnt come with any background noise canceling software or any way to combat an echo from your own headset or mic. Now I will admit not every single headphone out there causes that kind of problem but alot of "Really Good" ones do. Im talking about some Steelseries, Astros, and HyperX (Specifically the HyperX cloud Alpha), ives also had the HyperX cloud 3 which I wanted to mention are just trash unless you're on PC which is the BIGGEST problem with literally all gaming headset, ALMOST ALL gaming headsets are made with PC accessible only software in mind, But these headphones are amazing. These headphones allow us to use its full potential while on consoles which is amazing. Also I've never had a headset that actually blocks out literally ALLLLL outside noise, it even blocks out how i sound when i talked which definitely took me some getting used too. The craziest thing to it however is the super human hearing function, to clarify I mean specifically on Rainbow six siege, superhuman hearing is blatantly cheating, footsteps come out ridiculously clear and where they are coming from it feels like im able to wall.

Real comfronable but not as loud as the 600
So I am giving 5 stars cause I am a Loyal Turtle Beach Customer; However, having moving up through the series and having the 600 before I got the 700, I expected better sound, if Not at least around the same, The sound on the 600 is just way better then the 700. While it took me awhile to get used to wearing the 600 for long periods at a time (start hurting my outer ear) The 700 is way better comfort level. They are heavy (easily 4x heavier then the 600), I'm not sure if that is going to be a factor yet. I like the duel USB option but can't review that cause I don't use that feature. I would say if it's loud sound your after get the 600, comfort level and good sound get the 700.

Firmware Update and Factory Reset to Start
Bought as a refurbished product. At first I was having volume issues, but a factory reset of the headset fixed that issue. I believe the previous owner had used the Xbox mode to set the volume focus on Chat – if you are in PC mode, you aren't able to change that setting. Factory reset is the fix. Very nice headset! Super comfy and connects quickly to both PC and phone at the same time.

Worth the price tag.
VERY IMPORTANT! Charge headset first, then follow the quick start instructions. Scan the QR code, download the app, update the firmware, or the mic won't work.Pros- Well-built, comfortable, good sound, great sound adjustment options through the app, great balance between game sound and party clarity; neither one dominates the other, battery life seems acceptable, easy on/off mic flip option.Cons - can't make any sound adjustments other than volume through your Xbox, every other sound adjustment can only be done once you reconnect through the app.I will say after buying and returning two cheaper ($95 and $125) wireless headsets that the more expensive headsets are worth the price. So far.
