The food is amazing!
I stumbled on food reels on Instagram by the author and have been in love with his recipes (and the fact that he actually posts the recipes instead of making you send a DM or comment). When I saw he had written a cookbook, I knew I had to buy it. I actually bought 3 (2 for friends that eat low carb due to health reasons). I've been eating a low carb diet for 2 years due to a high A1C and it's hard to come up with easy and flavorful meals. The cookbook is full of really good meals with sauces that are to die for! I've been able to expand my small list of meals substantially with meals from the cookbook.

Book Review: So Easy, So Good
So Easy, So Good is more than just a cookbook, it’s a life manual disguised as delicious, clean recipes. Arash has created something that speaks to the mind, body, and soul with a rare kind of clarity and integrity. I’ve been one of this book’s biggest champions because it truly lives up to its name and offers so much more beneath the surface. At its core, this book reflects Arash’s commitment to the Kaizen way, continuous, incremental self-improvement. That principle isn’t just a passing idea in these pages; it’s the heartbeat of the entire book. With every recipe, every short insight, every nudge toward better habits, Arash reminds us that we don’t have to overhaul our lives overnight. We just have to keep moving forward, one nourishing choice at a time. Each dish is so easy to make, stripping away the intimidation factor often tied to healthy eating. But they’re also so good... good for your body, yes, but also good for your spirit. There’s a deep joy in preparing food from this book, because you can feel the love and intentionality behind it.What I appreciate most is how So Easy, So Good meets you exactly where you are. Arash doesn’t preach perfection; he encourages progress. His grounded, no-BS tone makes you feel like you’ve got a trusted friend in the kitchen, someone who’s been on the journey and genuinely wants you to thrive. This book isn’t about diet culture or temporary change. It’s about building a lifestyle rooted in real food, real self-respect, and sustainable practices. It’s for anyone who wants to feel amazing in their body while living with purpose and presence. If you’re looking for a way to reconnect with your health, fuel your growth, and embrace the Kaizen path, So Easy, So Good is your blueprint. I’m proud to stand behind it and even prouder to live by it.

The BEST recipes I've ever eaten from a cookbook!
The title of this book says it all... Literally these recipes are so delicious yet so easy to make! I have not tried a single dish that I do not like. Best part... they are high protein and low-carb. Win, win. The flavor of the dishes are superb, but the ingredients are so simple. Arash is a culinary mastermind that leaves your mouth happy after every bite! For guiltless at-home dinners and healthy dips, sauces and snacks look no further. Trust me, these are crazy good recipes!

Delicious & Easy
Amazing recipes and beautiful condition. As a young adult, I didn’t think I’d ever care for a recipe book but the recipes are so versatile, delicious and budget friendly. Easy to substitute and use what’s in your pantry and delicious to eat!

Great food, but not so "Easy"
The food is great, it is all so flavorful, which comes to the loss of ratings. I am sure that if you live in an urban area where you have access to international markets and the like, sourcing a lot of the spices and ingredients would not be a problem. However, living in a rural area makes it difficult to find (or at least afford) many of the ingredients. While this is not the fault of the author, it would have been appreciated that it was mentioned. Also, the book touts that it is "simple and easy", but many of the recipes are anything but. A lot of the recipes are more geared to full meal prep, rather that throw-together after work style cooking. In conclusion, this is a great cookbook for those that are looking to expand into more eastern Mediterranean cooking, that have the time and resources. However, if you, like me, who heard of the chef through his internet sites, are looking for quick and easy meals I would stick with his offerings online.

Shred Happens—and I’m So Glad It Did
Arash Hashemi has written the cookbook of my dreams! I got Shred Happens: So Easy, So Good just recently and have already made several recipes—every one of them delicious, even downright delectable (especially the chicken and salmon dishes). I love that there’s an entire chapter devoted to quick, easy, and flavorful sauces. Most importantly, this book has made me enjoy eating again—which is saying a lot coming from a diabetic food fanatic. I can't wait to get through the whole thing. Thank you, Arash!

So excited to find this cookbook
Been saving all of the YouTube shorts for these recipes and was so glad to learn that there was a cookbook. The photos in the cookbook are fabulous. The index is OK, but it’s still hard to find certain recipes because of the way the index is laid out. All in all, I would highly recommend.

Great Choice
This recipe book is delightful. There are pictures throughout of the recipes, which are easy to follow, different and unique. I’m not a great cook, but I’m really enjoying what happens when I make these recipes; they taste delicious! And the spices are in many cases new to me, but not difficult to find. It’s a great way to eat healthy.
