This is a great bag. I bought it to use when I am on my motorcycle to keep my gym kit dry. I love it so much that I even use it now when I use the car for work. You can pack loads in it, it is easy and comfortable to carry. After using it many times in pouring rain, it is most definitely waterproof. Definitely worth the cost.

I have been buying waterproof rucksacks for 12 years, beginning when my son came home from school one day with €200 worth of school books saturated after being caught in a heavy shower. This particular rucksack uses a very simple roll-up and snap-shut system which keeps everything inside the bag bone dry. It is ideal for going to school or work, or for a short day trip in the wilderness. It is also useful as a weekend bag.

It's been a year since I bought this. I needed a bag that would keep my work clothes bone dry whilst cycling to work...and it hasn't disappointed !! An excellent , durable bag thats served me well so far..... 18 months on.. one of the back straps came loose... gutted , but I bought another one immediately. I ocassionally use it to carry my once/twice weekly grocery shopping in. This might have exacerbated the wearing of the strap over time, I'm gonna try and repair It's still the best waterproof rucksack I've ever owned...so here goes for a 2nd time..

Very well made, clearly strong and durable, the colour is great, especially its high visability since I'll be wearing it while cycling, the size is perfect, its extremely comfortable and functional and I love how it looks. The only negative is the lack of any inner compartments or pockets, I knew this before purchasing, but even with this omission it was still the best choice for my needs. Very highly recommended !

Kept everything dry when whale watching on a rib. Good size not too big for everyday use. The water bottle holder is essential when hiking.

Early days yet and as I commute by bike it will get some use. The material seems a lot more flexible than the Polaris one it replaces, the material had cracked on that one after about one year so I'm hoping that this one last longer that that. As with most of these bags the only downside is that it is all one space, so I bought some of the smaller waterproof bags that are recommended for it (off Ebay as cheaper) and they solve the problem. I'll hopefully update this review after further use.

I love this bag! I needed something that would not start stinking after a week of my sweating on it during my hour cycle to work and back. So far so good! Very water proof, great for commuting at its very bright and the straps are comfortable too. One design addition would maybe be a larger external storage area so I can put my morning smoothie without it being next to my clothes inside the bag - just a suggestion :)

Had this bag for nearly a year now. I did plenty of research before I chose it. The price for the bag you get is absolutely worth it. It's been keeping my stuff dry and making me visible while cycling this whole time. I've also been using it for weekends away, stuffing it to the absolute brim and none of the seams busted. Not on the handle or strap and not the bag itself. Unfortunately, I can confirm that the sternum strap would definitely not be in an ideal place for those of a chestier nature as it is quite low. It's only just starting to show signs of wear after a year of constant use on the bottom of the bag, that being said it's not really stopped me using it as I'm not expecting my bag to end up in any situations where it would be submerged in water. I feel that it could've done with some additional bits such as some compartmentalisation and a second mesh slot on the opposite side but then that's just me.

Ich nutze den Overboard-Rucksack beim Radfahren und für diesen Zweck eignet sich der Rucksack perfekt. Er ist zu 100%wasserdicht und kann prima von Dreck befreit werden. Außerdem ist er leicht und stabil und dank der Rückenpolsterung auch komfortabel zu tragen. Es passt auch ausreichend viel rein.

Nach ca 2 Monaten Dauernutzung kann ich folgendes Urteil abgeben. Sehr guter wasserdichter Rucksack. Hoher Tragekomfort durch verstärkte Schulterriemen und festes Rückenteil und trotzdem durch Hohlräume schön luftig,sodass Schweiß besser verdunsten kann. Einziges mögliches Manko könnte sein,dass der Rucksack nur ein einziges großes Fach hat. mich stört es nicht,da so die 20l sehr viel mehr Platz bieten als andere Rucksäcke wo sich das Volumen auf mehrere Fächer verteilt. Aus Erfahrung kann ich mittlerweile berichten,dass der Rucksack absolut wasserdicht ist und die Klamotten darin auch bei längerem Starkregen komplett trocken bleiben. Daher verdient 5 Sterne

Excellent waterproof backpack…. Was a little tight on me (The Straps). I wear an Extra large shirt!
