Solid radiator key that fits older valves
It’s a radiator key that does exactly what you need it to do. The build quality feels solid and not flimsy like some of the cheaper ones. Most importantly it fit the radiators in my 1930s house without any issues, which isn’t always a given. Bled the rads, job done. Simple and reliable.

Just buy it. I recommend it.
This product is excellent. I can't praise it enough. It worked first time, fits like a glove and got the job done. Small but mighty tool. Great value for money and its very sturdy.

So well made! And does all my radiators!
Such a handy little tool! I previously had a small brass key. But it was so small and fiddly, that it took a few attempts to get it to latch in place! My radiators are a plumbers nightmare! I must have a small hole in my pipes, as two of the radiators fill up with air. The top halves do not heat up when there is air in them, meaning that they are inefficient. So I have to bleed them every two weeks. Oh, and a few years ago, I had a new radiator installed in my lounge. And up until ordering this key, I didn't even know it needed a different type of key! I just thought I was being silly in not finding the bleeding point! I misplaced the little brass key, so came on here to buy another. And I VERY almost bought an identical one, at half the price of this one! But then I read the reviews, and a lot of people said the same. That the grip was rubbish, or the key snapped. So I carried on looking and found this one. Yes, it was more money. But I'm glad I paid the extra, because it was worth it! It came well packaged, in a little handy zip bag. It's also incredibly well made, very sturdy and out of strong materials. I like the size, as it was so much easier to use! The long handle made it a doddle! And as mentioned earlier, I now know how to bleed the newer radiator! I know there is no way this key will snap! It's too strong! So yes, although you can buy cheaper keys, this one is better in the long run! And it's so much easier to use! So this is definitely a 5 star gadget! Will be recommending this one if anyone I know needs one

Could be better
First impressions of this radiator key are good. The build quality is strong, the socket heads appear well formed, and it has a reassuring weight to it. It certainly looks up to the job. However, it was frustrating not knowing the actual socket sizes beyond the vague labels of “imperial” and “metric”. After contacting the supplier, they confirmed the following sizes: • Metric: 5.1mm • Imperial: 4.7mm Based on that, I went ahead and bought it. But in use, I found the imperial side didn’t fit as snugly as a dedicated 4.75mm radiator key I already owned. Out of curiosity, I measured the key myself with a micrometer and found: • Metric: 5.08mm • Imperial: 4.85mm So it seems the imperial side is slightly larger than stated, which likely explains the looser fit compared to my 4.75mm key. The key point here: if you want a precise fit with minimal wobble, you may be better off buying the exact size rather than opting for a universal key. Over time, using a slightly oversized key led me to round off the shoulders on one of my radiator bleed valves. That said, it’s a decent quality tool, and depending on manufacturing tolerances, you might get a good fit, especially for the metric side. But if you're after accuracy and a snug fit, it's worth checking your radiator valve size and buying accordingly.

Best radiator key
Fantastic piece of kit, I have bought the brass keys in the past which I found very difficult to turn when the nut was tighten too much and often they would break. This tool tackled all my radiator with easy, very sturdy, would highly recommend, worth the money

Lives up to it's name
Certainly lives up to it's name. I have a mix of old and new radiators in my home, this key fits them all using the appropriate metric/imperial sides. Plenty of leverage to make releasing tight bleed valves easy. Appears to be a good quality made tool, no signs of deformation when in use. Has a useful key ring loop hole for keeping handy.

A Very Effective Tool
Very good - enabled me to bleed a radiator that a radiator key was ineffective for.

Works for me
Allows good leverage, compared to the tiny 'butterfly' shaped tools, to unfasten those tight bleeders... and re-tighten them back up properly, so as not to leak. Imperial & metric is also perfect in one key for those houses that have had the odd up to date replacement radiator(s0 fitted
