Is it like the line of Moroccan Oil products in the blue box?** A: moroccan oil in the blue box is only for your hair and is not the same thing at all. it is mostly silicone with a little bit of oil added. the silicone de frizzes your hair. it is a great product but it is NOT argan oil. **Q: Is this facial oil or hair oil??? Is it ok use to facial and hair too??? I really don't understand and I really worry about this item** A: I add it to body/face lotion and sometimes I use it alone. I also use it on my cuticles and hands especially in the cold weather. I have not used it on my hair but other reviews say they do, only a drop or two. Isn’t this expired?** A: Like any oil, if it is not kept in moderate temperature in a closed container, it may spoil (you will not like the aroma). If there is no odor, it is fine. The bottle I'm using (and I only use a maximum of 5 drops at a time, is over a year old. I first started using Argan oil because my sister-in-law (who is a hair stylist) recommended it to me. I have thin, dry hair and have a hard time finding products that condition my hair, without weighing it down. This product did wonders for me. After I shower (shampoo and condition like normal) I put a small amount in the palm of my hands, rub them together and distribute all over my hair. I put a little extra on my ends and the very top of my head. I live in the south and the humidity normally gives me a lot of frizz on top. I then use my heat protection spray and blow dry my hair. It is the very first product I have ever found that leaves my hair frizz free, shiny and not flat/greasy! It is wonderful. I noticed a difference immediately and the condition of my hair improved within weeks. I also take a small amount a rub on the back of my scalp at night before bed. I will never stop using this product.My grandmother told me years ago to put olive oil on my hands before bed; suppose to help them wrinkle less as you age. I found the olive oil to be too greasy; I stopped doing it after a couple nights. When I started using the Argan Oil on my hair, I read you can use it on your body too. I started putting a small drop in my hand lotion and put that on my hands in the morning and before bed. I have seen a difference with my skin feeling smoother. I need more time to know if it helps wrinkles.I highly recommend Poppy Austin, it is Organic and most Argan Oil in the stores is not. Ask your Hair Stylist and most will tell you it is a wonderful product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks Poppy Austin I Got More Than I Bargained For! *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on 22 September 2013* I don't often sway outside my usual Essential Oils brand to buy another product, but this one stood out from the crowd to me and I couldn't find it anywhere else. I knew that Argan Oil had been used for centuries for culinary purposes, for its peanut buttery taste, and used in lots of Moroccan cooking. However, I wasn't familiar with it's cosmetic uses until recently, nor that it could help my achy pains I often have.Argan Oil is known to be great for the skin and hair, and I can testify that it works!*I have dry patchy skin but only in various places such as my right cheek, my right elbow where my arm rests on my desk 15 hours a day, and my feet.* I have normal to oily scalp but frizzy split ends. 
* I have body aches from getting older, especially from physical labor.
So with all of my problems that I have rolled into one, this product met the needs of each. When I saw it go on sale, I grabbed it while I could!I also have important prerequisites for any product I use.
* They must be 100% Pure and Organic, and be Ecologically Certified and approved. 
* I prefer cold pressed products as I know how they are made, and what ingredients `don't' get into them. 
* They must be for all skin types, as mine is across the board as I am aging. 
* They must not be oily on my hands as I type all day.
* The product must last, and not dry up in the bottle.Argan Oil by Poppy Austin has met all my requirements and more.At first, I simply applied it to my cheek, my elbow, my shoulder and lower back, and my feet, and the rest of me got my usual moisturizer. After using my every day conditioner and putting Argan only on the ends, I used it all over my head just a little less at the scalp. It brushed through my long hair just marvelously, and the ends dried just as smooth as can be.Mind you, I am only a week into using my Poppy Austin's Argan oil, but I can't say enough how quickly I noticed the positive changes. After three hair conditionings, six days of body moisturizing, and four heavy physical work days in the garden, I guess I have replaced five other products, that really were not working to begin with!I read that if processed correctly the oil is supposed to last in the bottle 12-18 months, which is about three times longer than any other cosmetic product on the market. I have tried a few argan oils and this one from Poppy Austin has the characteristic earthy smell (very faint), viscosity, and color of the other good quality argan oils I have tried. It's also EcoCert certified which is something I look for as an extra assurance that it is real, diluted argan oil. I have been using argan oil on my skin as a moisturizer for about 9 months and I love it. Because I have combination skin, I thought it might make my skin too greasy, but it's actually had the opposite effect--I don't look as greasy by the end of the day as when I used regular moisturizer. I put 3 drops (2 in the summer) in the palm of my hand and use the fingertips of my other hand to dab and spread it on my face. I find that if my face is still a bit damp from washing that it makes this easier. I really feel like the texture and evenness of my skin has improved a lot since I started this regime, but I didn't take any photos, so I can't prove it definitively. But I am enjoying the simplicity of my routine and there is something to be said for using a basic, natural product instead of a lotion with lots of unpronounceable ingredients.I originally bought the argan oil help repair my damaged hair, but because of the amount of oil I need to use (I have thick hair down to my waist), I haven't gotten into the habit of using it. To oil my amount of hair (damp and post-wash) it takes 20-30 drops, but for my daughter I use only 3-5, so the amount of hair you have definitely makes a difference. I do need to try it though because my hair stylist claims that argan oil really helped her hair when she overprocessed it. My hair has not been chemically processed, but because of the length I do get some breakage.
