How much did people have to cut off the stem to make it more comfortable?

Hello, I have a low cervix and searched many online forums with the same question... however, I persisted with the cup without cutting it and I am now glad that I did not alter it. Your cervix will lie at different heights throughout the month/cycle. The key I have found is feeling inside where my cervix is (usually to the left) and then folding the cup to make a C shape, insert back towards the cervix and then twist the cup a couple of times to fully open it. I then use my muscles to pull the cup further in, whilst gently tugging on the stem to make sure I have a secure fit. This may sound daunting, but after about 3 cycles of using/practising with the cup, I wished I had known about it sooner! (The first few cycles I was ready to throw the cup out and was very annoyed!) I have now been using the cup for about 7 months and it has made my life soo much easier. On my heavy days before the cup I would have to change my tampon and towel every 2/3 hours... I can now go about 5 hours confidently in the day and throughout the whole night. Hope that this helps... from a mother of 2 little ones.

Do you still need to wear a pantyliner/pad with the Diva cup? Is it likely to leak at all?

If you have put in in correctly then you should not need a pad. I would say for the first couple days till you get used to it to wear a pad. Just until you can use it correctly.

Can you go on a roller coaster with the cup in?
