Have done some triceps exercises with them but would recommend a medicine ball, rubber skinned like a basketball, for triceps. The set arrived yesterday and here are my preliminary thoughts: - The 1lb set are fantastic. Well-balanced, good finish. I can see this pair getting a lot of use. - The 2lb and 3lb set have very pronounced seams on the handles. I can see this being potentially irritating to the hands during transitional movements. Hopefully, they'll smooth out over use or I may have to use some ultra fine grit emery cloth to clean them up. Not the end of the world but I thought I was ordering a finished product and not a project. - Unfortunately, my weren't quite as accurate in weight as another purchasers. 1# clubs are 508g and 511g 2# clubs are 1009g and 1015g 3# clubs are 1375g and 1410g Overall, looks like an ok set for the money. Knowing what I know now, I probably would've just bought the 1lb set and waited to buy a more premium pair of 2lb clubs. Also, I'm not impressed with Amazon's return policy for this type of stuff. Only accepting returns of unopened items. The clubs were boxed and individually bagged, how could a consumer possibly inspect the construction quality without actually opening the packaging and having a look.
