Is there a minimum no of cups of rice for this model, I’ve seen rice cookers where 4 is the minimum. There’s only 2 of us....

Yes it will cook 2 cups of rice. If you look inside the inner bowl there should be a scale running up the inside. It is quite tricky to see, however the minimum number is 2. Measure 2 cups of white rice with the cup measure provided and after rinsing it well, if indeed that's the way you like it, tip the rice into the inner bowl. Add cold water, I add salt at this point, adding enough water to touch the 2 mark. It's cooked under pressure and the default 9 minutes rice cooking time is just fine. It's as good as my 20 year old rice maker that just broken....
