Easy and works
I haven’t used this indoors yet but have used it to paint the fascia board after getting a new roof. Painting gray right next to a white trim piece is not something I can pull off with a brush. I didn’t have a steady hand in my 20s and that was several decades ago. This was perfect with a clean edge right up against the roof trim seal. Just perfect.

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!
The concept is great - however using a appropriate size paint tray did not work - paint got on the metal edge far too easy and get paint where I didn't want it. - can only use it in one direction, which became a problem - I am soooo disappointed in this product. I am not sure how you can get the paint on the roller without getting paint all over the apparatus.

Good for areas like stairs where it's hard to get a ladder set up
It works good on areas where it's hard to get a ladder. You will need to wipe off paint often from the cover to keep it from dripping. I was using it on a stenciled ceiling. I ran it back and forth probably 5 times in an area to get good coverage. It covered well using Baer Dynasty paint. Do not use a lot of pressure. I was using an extension pole. Corners are the hardest to get.

Prefer the XT
I got this set to help paint the ceiling line across stairs. I first tried the handheld in an upstairs hallway, along crown molding and baseboards. It was very disappointing. I had to spend time fixing lines. But I had originally wanted to try the Accubrush XT on a pole to reach across stairs and paint along crown molding because I didn't want to mess with ladders on stairs. And that worked great. I then used the XT on the baseboards and along door moldings and again, it worked great. How I wish I had used it on all the baseboards that first day. For me, the XT moved more fluidly and cut closer than the handheld. So I would recommend buying the XT alone, and forget about the handheld. Added note, when I used the XT on baseboards and door moldings, I used it like a handheld, not on a pole.

Leaves wheel lines in the paint
Didn’t perform well enough to what I expected, mostly because of the wheels rolling across to paint line. Almost always had to finish with a brush, so it was easier to just do it with a brush

Well thought out design
Maybe the most innovative interior painting solution I've ever tried. Not sure I get all the negative commentary. I'm currently painting a foyer with 18 foot ceilings and a spiral staircase that limits use of a ladder. Mounted to an extension pole, I'm getting clean lines around all the ceiling edges. The pivoting of the tool helps in reversing direction, and suggest after each application, you just dab the small corner brush with a rag. Doing so removes excess paint that contributes to clean lines. Only issue is corners - I'm using the cheap red lowes/home-depot edging tool which is highly inferior to the accubrush, but I only have to get maybe 4-5 inches of the corner with the cheaper tool - just being more careful with that as it's not easy to keep clean lines in the corners with that tool.

Just use a brush, this is HORRIBLE.
The main objective of this tool is to make straight lines. Yeah okay use this tool on your wall near the top of the popcorn ceiling like in the picture and please tell me how your supposed to obtain the results LIKE IN THE PICTUES OF THE POLE MOUNT UP AGAINST THE WALL. BAD PRODUCT!!! LIES IN THE PICTUES.That little brush that's supposed to provide a clean line doesn't do that at all. Also LOADING THE BRUSH WITH PAINT IS SO UNPRACTICAL. I would ask for my money back but I was so pissed I threw this in the garbage. I hope this review helps people because if your buying this to help you cut, do not do it. It's really really bad painting quality outcome. I would NOT be able to sell people my painting services and use this product. Absolute garbage.I have been painting for 5+ years and this product isn't good for A N Y T H I N G. NOT EVEN SIDE OF TRIM WHERE ITS FLAT SURFACE ON FLAT SURFACE!!!Keep in mind that is IF you don't care about brush lines which almost all my previous clients definitely care if they see brush lines everywhere.I feel scammed. Extremely misleading.I gave two stars because yeah it paints I guess. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Works as advertised
I wasn’t sure if it would actually do what it advertised, but I was totally surprised. No leaks and leaves perfect straight lines
