Nicely packaged, bright outdoor light, what else there is to say, it looks stylish on top of the fence post and it simply just screws into the top, and you can twist and turn to put it in place, if you want to turn it off simply twist and you can turn it off. Of course this gives the option for thieves to just turn and run, but if its in a good spot you wont have to worry.The light on the inside has 2 modes, where 1 half of the small LEDs are lit, and 2 when all the LEDs are lit, the difference is fairly negligible but I like having it on 2. Make sure it gets enough sun though.

I have given these 4 stars simply because I do not think they are worth the price tag (£10 each at time of review) but they do look good. They come with fixings for 5 inch and 4 inch posts and are really simple to fit. There are no instructions with them so you may need to refer to the listing as to how to turn them on etc. They run from a 1.5v AA NiMH battery that is charged via a solar panel on top of the light. This means that the light is not the brightest but it also means that the battery can be replaced should the need arise. If they were a bit cheaper or there was the option of discount on quantity I would probably give these 5 stars.This is a review of an item received free as part of the Amazon Vine program. Fortunately we have had some good sunshine and so these charged up well and gave a nice bright light from dusk till after my bedtime 🥱They are very well made and come really well packaged. They look very robust and durable. You can fix them to fence posts but as I have a clear plastic roof on my conservatory that feeds into the lounge I am using them free standing. They look very nice on each end of the bookcase. I guess I could get some very short fence posts offcuts and make them into a nice solar powered pair of table lamps. They are easy to operate and you can turn them off if not needed. The price is very reasonable for a quality item.

This pack of 2 comes with 2 different sized bases each, the bases are simply screwed down to the top of the post and the light itself is twisted onto the base.The light has a rechargeable battery which can be replaced easily, no need to take apart, just open the panel like any other normal battery operated. No need to take apart.The light is the usual brightness for low powered solar lights, so it wont replace your security lights but does illuminate your paths and fences.The plastic is quite lightweight and thin, so I am not sure how many years this will last outside, but it certainly makes a nice addition to the garden.A little lower than £20 for the pair would make them 5 stars

I ordered the btfarm 2 Pack of Solar Garden Post Lights. These are great. They are solar powered and waterproof. The top and base twist on and off, don’t try to press or pull. You need to twist open the light and switch it on with the switch near the light bulb. There are 2 brightness settings you can switch it to. There are also 2 different sizes of base you can use depending on your fence post size. An instruction booklet and 3 sets of screws and raul plugs are included. You will need your own tools to fix the bases onto your fence posts. These lights come on automatically when it gets dark and are very useful if you need to go out into the garden at night. I can recommend them.

The btfarm 2 Pack Solar Post Lights arrived in a good sturdy box and I soon placed them on the decking for testing. The square based shape is unusual and I like that as it gives me more positioning options. You have an adaptor so they will fit different sizes of posts but they could also be placed on a flat surface. Even after only an hour of daylight they worked fine, there are two brightness options which I found fairly similar but I was very pleased with warm white glow, especially effective on oiled decking. So now I have to decide whether to place them on the decking or the top of the fence posts at the back. My one concern is that they are of a lightweight construction, how will this effect durability and will they get damaged by pigeons and squirrels that frequently run along the fence ? Overall I am very pleased with them and especially the ambient light emitted.

These are fabulous little solar lights. They have been well designed and thought out.There are 2 sizes of bases for 2 standard fence post sizes. These are screed in place first, then the light fitting itself clicks and twists into place on the base. The top of the light can also twist off separately to give access to the bulb and battery.The lights use solar power to recharge the battery, but the battery can also be removed and recharged separately if there isn’t much available light. This makes them a viable option for even shady areas of the garden.The lights look classy and are robust and well made. They add the finishing touch to a boring fence, and would be very impressive on a long run of fencing.At £10 each, I think these are good value for the quality and versatility. Would recommend.

A great looking set of lights for fixing, in my case, to garden gate pillars. They looked really neat at night and set the gate off quite nicely.Easy to assemble with inbuilt solar rechargeable batteries. Mine last for a good 6 hours plus from a summery day charge.Simply screw the base in position and the body then turn clicks in with a quarter turn. Maybe a grub screw under the top to make them a bit more secure.It would have been 5 stars all the way but both me and the missus felt that the lights could have been a tad brighter but still nice.
