A spoonful of ginger syrup added to 2 chunky slices of lemon and hot water is delicious.The syrup has a wonderful ‘soft’ taste no harshness and sweetens the hot water and lemon perfectly.

Lovely flavor, good mixed with soft drinks or over ice cream

I add this syrup to a variety of things like cereal yogurt juices will buy again its great

The bottle is nice enough to leave on a shelf to be seen. The syrup isn't as strong as I'd hoped and I needed to use varying amounts in given cakes, cheesecakes etc before deciding how much was needed. I felt I needed to use rather more than I had hoped would be the case. Having said which, once I'd found the right amount, it gives a pleasant heat to the taste of baked goods. Perhaps two cheers rather than three, but worth having available when needed.

The product is made in China and does not taste like real ginger.What you are paying for is 70%+ cane sugar and a weak ginger-ish flavour. There is no peppery punch of real ginger - this just tastes sweet and sickly.After paying so much for lightly flavoured liquid cane sugar, I was so disappointed I actually made myself a batch of the real thing.This took me all of 1 hour, and the result was unspeakably better - full on ginger flavour, peppery and strong - 50/50 reduced ginger and water with brown sugar (yep, the cost was just the ginger, the sugar and gas to boil the mix in water).I tipped the rest of this crap down the sink and refilled the bottle with my superior homebrew.

Ich wollte mir Ingwersirup kaufen, um Cocktails zu machen. Selbstgemachter Ingwersirup (auskochen und Honig dazu) war mir zu scharf - ganz zu schweigen vom Aufwand. D.h. wenn man so viel rein tut, dass es gut nach Ingwer schmeckt, macht die Schärfe das Gesamterlebnis etwas kaputt. Andere Ingwersirupe haben teilweise schon viel Säure drin und sind gut geeignet, um sie in hoher Verdünnung mit Wasser oder Tee zu trinken. Nicht so dieses hier. Hat mir mit Wasser gemixt zwar auch ganz gut geschmeckt, aber die Süße ist einfach nur Zucker (zumindest laut Etikett) und so schmeckt sie auch - da fehlt die Komplexität.Der Ingwergeschmack hingegen ist super. Ich habe keine Ahnung, wie die es hinkriegen, dass es so gut nach Ingwer aber nicht scharf schmeckt. Etwas weniger Zucker wäre schön gewesen.

Im Rewe-Sonderregal immer dran vorbeigeschlichen, hab ich's einmal da gekauft und viermal hier bei amazon, hab's verschenkt und behalten. Tolles Zeug. in Joghurt, in kleinen Mengen in Salatdressing, sogar in den Kaffee. Oder auf Pancakes oder zum Anbraten von asiatischem Gemüse mit Sesamkörnern dann z.B. Ach, ist wunderbar. Es reicht ein kleinster Teelöffel für ziemlich viel Geschmack.

ich trink so gut wie nie Alkohol ... Immer wieder muss man jedoch mit Freunden anstoßen und mir ist es eigentlich ein Geräuel, sogar Champagner kann ich absolut nichts abgewinnen. Seit ich die diversen "Zusätze" habe, fällt es mir nicht mehr schwer. Ein kleiner Schuss ins Glas und schon ist Prosecco, Sekt oder Champagner für mich "trinkbar" .

Das außergewöhnliche ist,das es einen Sirup von der Ingwerwurzel gibt,dieser Ingwersirup ist,wer gerne in der Küche tätig ist als Gewürz nichtwegzudenken.Den Sirup In den Tee oder in den Kuchenteig, wenn man seber backt,oder auch mit Mineralwasser gemischt einfach gut.
