Fib kit, not as described
Disappointed in this kit. The size of the fib should be described by the diameter of rope that fits inside of it. Not the outside diameter of the fib. I needed this for 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2" rope. There is nothing in this kit that a 3/8" synthetic rope will fit inside of.

Can get the job done with amsteel
Okay kit, but just know the fids are not fully hollow. Maybe less than an inch of working space on the inside.

Solid material
The fids are nicely shaped, but I’m going to soften the edges some before use. The points are nicely rounded tips, but the hollow ends are quite sharp and potentially damaging. I’m sure a little fine sand paper will buff the cutting sharpness off them though. Doesn’t come will a wire for long splices, but otherwise a nice complete kit that should last for all I’ll ever do.
