Perfect
Bought to help create a new border when reducing my lawn .. a new build estate and the amount of stones under lawn was pretty awkward to deal with .. this riddle has helped immensely with grading the soil and collected 4 big bags of stone which I'll now use to fix in new fence posts with some post Crete .. excellent quality and will not rust and easy 6*

Excellent riddler. Robust. Should last years. Middle holes about 1 cm square so small rocks will get through. Easy to push soil through. Suitable for my purpose.

A quality riddle
A riddle may not be a thing of natural beauty but this one is certainly smart looking and is likely to be still riddling very efficiently into the distance future. Spear and Jackson do quality and so the price tag is accordingly more expensive, but on this site a tad less than others.

Perfect size to hold
Not too big, not too small. If it were bigger it would be too heavy to hold, and smaller too few materials could be sieved. The holes are of a size to allow small stones but not large ones, or vegetative material to passlike grass roots. Perfect for sieving lawn cuts, or going through rough virgin areas in borders. Even catches clay but does not sieve it. Excellent riddle, great materials, reputable manufacturer. Sturdy and durable, keep it clean. Stainless steel is great quality. Takes abuse.

Durable and Useful
I wasn't sure if I should purchase a riddle, but I am more than happy that I did. I have used it to plant trees and it has saved me a lot of time from manually picking rocks out of the soil. The riddle is great weeds/vegetative material from the soil. I have sifted a lot of very rocky soil using this riddle and it has held up very well. The grid is a good all purpose size for removing most rocks. The little extra cost is more than worth it.
