As a pack of 5, I think these battery wire lights are good value (they do need 2 x AA batteries per set, which are not included). I’ve tested one out by unwinding it and stuffing it in an old jar and then I put it on the timer and it does turn itself off. I think this is great as I’ve often forgotten I’ve left battery lights on & gone off to bed leaving them on all night. I will use them at Christmas - they will be ideal for incorporating into a door wreath or garland to light them up.

You can use them outside and also inside. You get a silver coloured wire 'string'', with warm white tiny led bulbs, set about every 10cm. Being a wire you can position it where you want - crumpled into a jar, around a frame, along a windowsill or mantlepiece. I will use at least one of the set, to illuminate the inside of a modern dolls house. I will make a lowered ceiling in the middle of the room and the lights will sit above making an imitation of the modern décor.The battery container is easy to open with a push of the top lid and you put two AA batteries in place. It is operated by a slide switch and with these sets you only get static on, there is no twinkle setting. There is also a timer setting, which means 6 hours on, then off for 18 hours before turning on again.The current price of £9.99 is fine, in my opinion. However, at the moment you can get 30% off by clicking the voucher button, making them really good value for money.

At the current price of around 2 quid a strip its hard to fault these on value. You will need a good supply of AA batteries as none are supplied (fair at the price) and you need two per strip. They are a reasonably bright warm white, if I was to be super critical a little colour variation would be nice. The LEDS are on a fairly stiff wire which is easy to shape as you wish although it has a tendency to tangle if you aren't careful.Where you use these is pretty much only limited to you imagination and they will be great to spread around at Christmas time. The size of the battery compartment seems a little out of sink with the LED size and strip length but it does result in a good battery life.

This is a good value set of warm white rice lights, you get 5 in the box. Each one takes 2 x AA batteries and each has a timer switch so you can set them and forget them. I find that a set of batteries lasts about one month so if you are displaying these over Christmas they should last the season. They are a useful length which can be wound round/through wreaths or ornaments, or dropped into a bowl, and because the wire is copper they can be submerged in water or displayed outside; but please note that the battery box is not waterproof so this would need to be placed somewhere dry. I recommend this item.

Lovely warm white copper wire lights, 2 metres in length with 20 lights. Quite bright, they take 2 x AA batteries each but the batteries last, especially if you use the timer function.The Timer function is especially good, 6 hours on, 18 off. I prefer lights that have this as you can just leave them and not have to remember to turn them off to save the batteries. I like to use this type of light at Christmas especially, they look great in wreaths, on shelves, mirrors, around home ornaments etc.To open the battery compartment, you slide/push the cover towards the string of lights.

Got these to use in craft projects such as shadow boxes, DIY lamps and such like and they are great for this. Being powered by just a couple of AA batteries means they're cheap to operate and will stay lit for a long time. You also have the option of using rechargeables which you don't if they were button cell powered.Icing on the cake is the built-in timer function on the battery pack. Recommended.

would have thought these would be longer sadly, but either way cant wait to use thesewould have been nice if they were water proof as well but they arent
