However, as other reviews state also, the shipping really took a toll on it- the 2 boxes it was in were smashed and some of the paint had chipped off of the basket from it. It was a mess to open!

So I really love it! Not only is it pretty but I feel so relaxed coming home after a long day of schlepping mail all day. There I am sitting down and just enjoying my family and this lamp gives off such a pretty glow. My family is much calmer now as well. I think it really does work!
