Google Pixel 8 Pro, 512GB, Obsidian - Unlocked (Renewed)

This phone works like new. A few minor cosmetic scratches, but almost invisible. Screen is perfect. A few small scratches on metal surrounding camera, but doesn't affect camera at all. 5x optical zoom camera is awesome! Phone is a lot faster than my old Oneplus nord n10 5g. It hardly uses any battery while using wireless android auto. Uses ~4% every 30 mins of driving (distance I drive to work). Old phone used to use 20% of battery in same time. I am using phone with Mint mobile and it has worked flawlessly. I have zero complaints. Phone didn't come with charger, and doesn't charge fast (google decision), but I can live with that. I can go 2 days on a charge, but I am not a heavy user. I would recommend this phone and seller. 512 GB of storage is awesome!

I purchased this as a replacement to my broken Pixel 6 Pro. It's not a huge change from the 6 Pro, but the screen seems much clearer and the phone overall seems more responsive. I had purchased my 6 Pro as a refurbished unit too, and in comparison this 8 pro arrived in much better condition. It looks brand new and the battery life seems much better. The seller even included a charging cable and screen protector, neither of which I expected, but both are greatly appreciated. Overall, I'm so happy with my purchase.

The phone was great - I use Spectrum Mobile which is on the Verizon Network. So until I tried to install an eSim for another network on T-Mobile I had no idea that this supposedly Unlocked phone was actually Verizon Locked! Ticket opened today to get a replacement. I have no issues with the phone itself - but being locked is an issue considering I need to use an eSim on a different network for travel. I'll update this review when a fix from the suppliers has been applied! *UPDATE* Took the phone to the Verizon store and they checked the device. It was a fully paid up device and should have been unlocked, but had a flag on the IMEI that stopped it working on networks other than Verizon. The very helpful person at the store did some checks and then removed the lock. The phone now accepts eSims on other networks after a restart. No issues. Phone itself is very high quality and is in excellent condition. I have no issues with the phone. My issue is the faffing that had to be done to get full access to a device I paid for.

Had to go inside the phone service store to have them install the esim and was told the phone was locked. Went a different location and she connected it with no problem. I almost sent the phone back because of someone's incompetence. Glad I double checked! I love this phone Use

Update: this phone died after only 4 months. Luckily, my carrier was able to do a trade-in despite its malfunctions. I’m sad to say that I wanted to love this phone; however, I will never be purchasing a google again :( Wonderful design accompanied by great features that rival my old Samsung Galaxy S20 Note. This phone is quick, has tons of storage, and a great camera. I love the night vision that the camera has, as well as the clarity when using zoom. The battery life is comparable to my Samsung Note. I wish the battery lasted a bit longer; however, I can still mostly make it through the day on a single charge. The sound quality is great and video/image picture is perfect for streaming shows/movies. The phone is durable; however, I have a case, camera cover/protector, and screen protector to be extra safe. Overall, this phone was substantially cheaper than getting another Samsung, but is great quality and even has some extra features that my Samsung didn't have!

I waited a while to leave this review just to make sure everything worked great. This is a renewed phone. It looked brand new when I got it and it has been perfect for months now.

I purchased the Pixel 8 Pro in excellent condition. I was hesitant at first to purchase but when it arrived I was pleased that the screen and body was flawless with no scratches or other signs of wear on the screen or body. The battery showed no signs of degradation. Everything functions as designed and considering this renewed item is less than half the price of buying it new, it was a great deal. Very pleased with this purchase.

I loved my Google Nexus phone. Then I got a Samsung Galaxy, and it had some organizational choices within the GUI I didn't like. But it worked well. But when the time came, I went back to a Google Pixel. This thing sux. Maybe the "big idea" stuff is great. (I don't know.) But the every day stuff -- like typing text messages -- requires that you use a whacked-out keyboard layout where, for example the forward slash '/' isn't even available without selecting an alternate keyboard. The backslash '\' is there, but you can't say 24/7 without invoking an entire alternate keyboard. The placement of parenthesizing punctuation like '[' ']' and '{', etc. is beyond stupidity. I thought I would eventually get used to the new layout, but it is so counter-intuitive that I have not. Not to mention that the fundamental "touch-pad" technology of their "display under glass" just doesn't work to select the proper character reliably like my old Galaxy still does. Buyer beware! It seems Google was great, but that they can screw up anything now, and are "progressively" doing so.
