Fishies for fido!
My dogs absolutely love these! I got turned onto these by littermates parent-- I would have never thought to buy fish -- but nom nom nom my pups went and I knew I had to get some. I hate fish- and the thought of fish smell in my house made me hesitant -- but the smell is no worse than average dog food , and they are easy to grab - nothing weird about their texture. Great crunch and good for them. Spendy... but makes a great training treat or a cut topping for their dinner.

Great for Mud Turtle not for Mom
I HATE these. Unfortunately for me, my mud turtle, Vinnie, LOVES them. He's full grown at about 4 inches long, so one of these is at least 4 bites for him. Except he doesn't bite through his food. He uses his feet to tear it apart while he hold it in his mouth. Today I picked a fish head out of my filter strainer while it's little eyes glistened in the water and stared at me. Vinnie was run over by a car in his younger wild days and has no eyes so I usually feed him with tongs. He's very slow to eat, moving at a turtles pace to strike (haha)cats, and perpetually aiming an inch away from the food 2 millimeters from his cute little nose. These things stink to high hell, please remember to aim the bag away from you when you reseal it... Vinnie always gets these guys super fast! (For him, anyway.) Actually, sometimes I feed one of these on a day he was scheduled pellets because I'm in a hurry... turtle parenting isn't perfect, ok.One of my cats (also eyeless... hmm...) has expressed interest in the smell of these from afar, but I generally keep them as far away from the mammals as possible because I think I suffer enough for Vinnie. When I'm more used to them though, I'll *might* use them to lay some scent trails for enrichment. I think about 60% of my dogs and cats would eat these. I think the ferrets would follow a trail but not eat them. We may never know.Did I mention I'm vegan? (sorry, rules, y'know) Which means when I let something like this into my home, you know I think it's good for my family. My dogs may suffer through peanut butter kongs while Vinnie eats like a (terrifyingly prehistoric) king, and I cry internally, but we still give all paws and claws up.

My dog's go crazy for These treats ! Dehydrated minerals I love by little and big dogs
These little dehydrated minnows are a real treat for my little dog and my big dog .. they both love them. The price is not bad..as you can see the 2.5 oz bag is a decent size.. It's next to a big bottle of soda. The minnows are all different sizes. It's a nice addition to the other food and treats that I give my dogs.. It's actually made and process in the USA!I've been buying this for over here now And I've never been disappointed. And also reading other reviews I see that people use these for other animals as well. They're turtle cat come on Ferret I guess whatever else that would eat a minnow LOL

Not for my dog!
I was researching treats for my 10 yr. old Yorkie. She goes through her bag of Pumpkin Harvest, baked with apple, dog treats like they were dog candy. They’re free of wheat, corn, dairy and soy, and contain no artificial ingredients, colors, or flavors. A good treat to give no doubt and no problems at all. But hey, I wanted to change it up for her and give her another good dog treat so she doesn’t get bored. So I found and read up on these minnow freeze dried, vital treats for dogs. And yes the reviews were so good that I was convinced my little Yorkie would just gobble them up. HA! Joke’s on me. I got them today and opened the bag! Yes they were perfect. Raw and fresh, small little tidbits, that I knew she would just love this treat. Well, she licked it up just fine when I held it out to her, tasted the minnow, made an awful perturbed face, dropped it on the kitchen floor, and walked out of the kitchen pretty darned pissed off. I said wait sweetie, these are good, but she didn’t even look back at me. I then tried to sneak it in her eating bowl, I mean come on, it’s just a tiny little inch long minnow fish. She licked it up out of the bowl and then realized what it was and immediately dropped it on the floor. So there the minnow lay, and I thought ok, just give her time to get used to it and she’ll eat it later. But no, she wouldn’t have it. It just laid there on the floor while she totally ignored the fact that it was edible. This from the little doggie vacuum that sucks up any tidbit she can find on the floor to eat. So then I got the bright idea to mix it in her dinner with her freeze dried duck biscuits. After I mixed the broth with the biscuits, to soften it all up, I mixed in the little minnow also, and combined it all together to make a real treat for her. All the time she is wagging her tail waiting for her dinner bowl, because she just loves her dinner every night. I thought now she will eat up! So, ten minutes later, after she was all done and laying content , I checked the bowl and there was the little minnow fish lying on the bottom of a very licked clean and empty bowl! Good thing I have little niece and nephew kitties at my sister’s house who will just love these minnows. The End.

My dogs seem to like these as a little treat
Not a lot in the bag so if you have a small pet it’s a decent deal. These are tiny. Great for a cat snack. I have a 30 lb dog and a 60 lb dog. I gave the big one a little minnow and he nibbled it (loved it) but looked at me like “seriously lady? That’s all you got? You gave me a full pig ear last week. What gives?” Lol

My dog says these get 5 stars
My dog has a VERY sensitive stomach and is also a picky eater. These minnows are his favorite treats and they don't upset his stomach. They were strange to handle at first, but I got used to them and they don't smell fishy unless you stick your nose to the bag.

Love Vita essentials treats
My puppy loves these treats especially the rabbit flavor. Small enough to put in a puzzle toy, great for training. But, beware when giving the rabbit treats because the farts are stinky, but as long as he’s happy and the treats are good for him, I will never complain lol

Stinky but crazy good!
My 5 month old maltese puppy absolutely loves this treat. Her tail starts to wag just by me reaching for this bag. It definitely stinks (very fishy) but then it's expected. Absolutely recommend! Maltese puppy and mom approved.

Crack for Dogs!
These are a little expensive but you can't buy them in this country so I have to order them. So worth it to me though as my dogs are addicted to them and they are super healthy. postage is free so that's a plus and they seem to dispatch immediately as I get them pretty quickly considering they come from the states.A great treat for raw fed dogs and they come really well packaged.

The real McCoy!
The real McCoy! Vital Essentials Is the best of the best and this is why we are forced to buy from the USA because we can't get such quality products from the UK. I wish we could catch on but the average person has no idea that raw food is biologically appropriate

Crunchy rabbit treats that my dogs like
I actually ordered these treats for ferrets but they are very particular about the treats they like and refused to eat these perhaps because they are too crunchy. My dogs do enjoy them on the other hand. They might be too hard for training treats but are a nice small size for other purposes.
