I use this to move soda vending machines. These machines weigh close to 1,000 lbs (454 kg). and don't like to be tilted heavily. With the mechanical advantage of the screw-jacks, I barely notice the load coming off of the ground. The casters are good-sized and very solid, so once the machine is up off the ground, it's very easy to maneuver on hard or even carpeted surfaces. As the joke goes, "It's a lot like dancing with a fat girl. She can dance, but there's a lot moving." If you've got heavy stuff to move over good floors, this will make your life much more pleasant. Easy to set up, easy to use, and works very well.

These things rock! I was able to move a desk, steamer cabinet, and a stacked washer and dryer, with ease. I even used these to lift the washer and dryer so I could stack them on top of drawer cabinets, and then move the entire unit into the laundry room. The work well, but really do need to use the straps to hold them in place. If I could change one thing, I would make the strap ratchet setup so the metal ratchet would not touch the object I am lifting, but putting a towel or washcloth in between achieves the same protection with just a little more effort. I even used these to lift and relocate 7 garage wall cabinets (23' of cabinets) in less than 50 minutes when I had my garage painted and the floor epoxied. And the cabinets were FULL, so I didn't even have to empty them!!!

Kind of expensive, but needed to move a large safe. Made the job a breeze compared to monkeying around with standard furniture dollys, especially across carpet and thresholds.

I'm moving my shop and this makes moving heavy machines a breeze. I made a couple modifications. I inserted a 1 foot x 3 foot loose piece of plywood for my low height boxes. Once the straps are tightened the plywood supports the top of the dollies. No need to worry moving short cabinets or crates. I'm also using soft loop motorcycle straps which adds length to the ratchet straps.
