Anyone who has seen my reviews of tech gear knows that I'm a specs freak. If the charger says it can pull 2.4 amps at 5 volts, I ensure with test gear that's actually what it can do. And this one can, however, I found that at max draw it seemed to heat up faster than other chargers I have in the same spec range. I don't know why that was the case, but it is. Not to worry though, it's not ready to burst into flames or anything like that, just slightly warmer than I would expect.My favorite bit of this charger setup is the extra long cord. Having a cable that is over six feet in length is a godsend when you're in some janky airport that hasn't bothered to update their power delivery systems for passengers. Nothing is worse than needing to baby sit the plug sitting on the gross floor because you can't get more than three feet away. With this setup, I'm able to plug into the socket around the corner and still manage to keep some dignity by siting in a real chair.This is priced right for the aftermarket and it's a good price at that.

I've wanted a spare power adapter for several years. Of course I first started searching for one to order during COVID and I was out of luck. Apple promised to email me when they came back in stock but they never did, and I forgot about wanting one. I happened to see this, saw that it was the right kind of adapter, 61 W, USB-C, so I ordered it. It came yesterday, nicely and securely packaged, and I hooked it up to my 16" Macbook Pro. Works flawlessly. Also works on my 13" Macbook Pro.Mac has gone to USB-C connections in just about everything they make. For some older things I want to connect to the computer, I have to use a go-between adapter. Not with this. I can plug it directly into the side of the computer.The cord is the same length as the one that came with my computers. This charger does not have the extra extension cord, so if you want that, you'll have to order it separately.I'm happy to have finally found a backup charger Power Adapter that will be ready to go if my (very old now) power adapter decides to quit working.And you can't beat the price.Recommended.

This 61W charger works perfectly with my MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016). It is a great, cost-effective replacement for Apple chargers. I needed a backup charger for when I travel, and this fits all my needs. Make sure to check your connections and wattage requirements. If you need a 60W USB Charger, this is a great option.

I have been a Mac user for as long as they have existed and had an Apple IIe before that. I hated the magnetic charger connection that was used for years. This Type C adapter is a solid connection and this particular charger does a good job. We occasionally have to replace the original Apple charger due to one of our animals chewing on the cord or just damaging the cord through frequent use and pinching it in a power recliner. This replaces an Apple cord efficiently with one of our two Macbook Airs.

I needed a spare charger to leave in our vacation home so I don't have to worry about leaving one there. This one charges my Mac exactly like the one that came with it. Other than the logo, you would never know which one was from the factory. This works perfectly at a fraction at the price.
