Perfect tool for a first time shaver!
I bought this for my 15 year old son. I wanted something that I didn’t have to worry about him cutting himself. He is able to keep the hair off his face with ease. My husband keeps trying to take it from him since it is so easy to use!

They grow up so fast - drama free teen tool
Got this for my 13yo son for his peach fuzz. It took him a few months to -want- to use it, but now it's part of his routine and it seems effortless, drama free. Doesn't take up a lot of space, holds a charge for a long time, very gentle. I like that it's safe and simple enough for a kiddo while still being a "real" grownup tool for self care, teaching independence & responsibility.

Perfect for teens
Perfect for that sparse teen stubble. Bought my son a popular shaver and noticed he wasn't shaving much. He complained the razor wasn't cutting well. Saw this advertised specifically for teens and he reports it works much better. No irritation, easy to clean, and holds a good charge.

Great Starter Shaver for Teens — Easy, Safe, and Does the Job
I picked up the Philips OneBlade First Shave for my teenager who’s just starting to learn how to shave, and it’s been a really good experience so far. The design is lightweight and easy to control, which makes it much less intimidating than a regular razor. It cuts hair cleanly without scraping the skin, and my son hasn’t had any nicks or irritation even on his first try. The hybrid blade is gentle but still gets close enough for a neat look, and it works well for shaping around the edges too. The battery life is decent for something at this price point, and the fact that it’s made for beginners gives me peace of mind. Overall, it’s a great first shaver — safe, simple, and effective without being overwhelming. I would recommend it for any teen just getting started.

Great shaver!!
Love, love this trimmer!! This is my second trimmer and I use it mainly for my beard and other facial hair (ears included). Great to travel with. Had to get a new one because the original one after habit for at least 4 years, it fell down, broke and stopped working.

Perfect first shave
My 17 yr old son wasn’t ready to start shaving his whole face yet, but had some peach fuzz that bothered him. I bought this for him and he loves it! It’s a great start to self grooming without worry of cutting or jumping in too early and creating stubble. He uses it to clean up his hair line on the back of his neck too. Happy with the price and delivery.

BUY IT!
For the people debating it, or checking for “more affordable alternatives,” just go ahead and get it. This is, in my opinion, one of the best razors (if not THE best) incredibly effective, easy on the skin, and hasn’t left any burns or nicks whatsoever. I tried it while shaving dry and wet, and both work easily. I used it straight out of the box, without a charge, and haven’t charged it yet. It’s held a charge even though I’ve used it several times since I received it. There are no attachments, however, I don’t believe them to be necessary. The coated blades protect your skin. It has a lovely weight to it, and seems durable. It’s not loud compared to others I’ve tried either. For reference, I have tried two different electric razors. The hydrosilk one, which worked well but felt bulky, difficult to maneuver, and left razor bumps. The second one, not sure of the brand, was $10 at Walmart. Again, bulky, annoyingly loud, would catch my skin and would leave razor bumps. So, overall, get this! 100% would buy again.

Gentle, easy first shaver that actually works
This is a great starter electric shaver, especially for sensitive skin or first-time use. It trims hair efficiently without pulling, and the blade feels much gentler than a traditional razor—very minimal irritation or razor burn. It’s easy to handle, lightweight, and works well for both quick trims and a closer shave. The battery life is solid, and cleaning is simple since you can rinse it under water. It doesn’t get as close as a manual razor, but that’s expected and worth it for the comfort and convenience. Overall, a reliable and user-friendly option for anyone looking for a low-maintenance, irritation-free shave.

Great first razor for the beginner
Description: The Philips OneBlade comes in a small package with cardboard on the inside where the pieces are protected so it doesn't get banged around in transport. The razor comes with one blade, and fits in the hand with the power button right at the thumb point. There are lines on the handle for a grip point, so it's easier to hold without slippage. A charging cord is included as well as a cover to protect the blade. The box contains very good description of the razor and it's features, such as gentle on the skin. The blade has two sides to it so it can be used for shaving and trimming. Price. At $33CND, it's a nice price point for teens to be able to afford it, or a parent to gift it. Packaging: Small cardboard package with cardboard on the inside where the pieces are protected so it doesn't get banged around in transport. The packaging is small and east to open. You are also able to recycle when disposing of the package. Pros: Easy to use and holds a charge for quite a while without the need to plug it in again. Small footprint so easy to put in your shave kit for travel. Cover for the razor so it extends the life before replacement. Does't knick you or catch the skin like other razors. Perfect for the first time user, or someone who wants a quick and easy shave while traveling. Can be immersed in water without issues. Cons: It could use some rubber on the handle for when it gets wet for firmer grip. Replacement blades cost more then the razor itself. Overall Impressions: This was my sons first razor, and takes care of the peach fuzz and the stache that all teens like to grow out without issues. The blade does the job and cuts the hair without damaging the skin. It doesn't take up too much counter space, and holds a charge for months. I think anyone with a beard who doesn't need a full face shave could also utilize this razor and save some time during their mornings getting ready. Easy to use, you can rinse it under water to clean the blade, and I find that it will last you 5-10 shaves. Well worth the money to introduce your teen to the world of shaving.
