Athletic Brewing Company Craft Non Alcoholic Beer, Vegan Golden & IPA, Low Calorie Brews, 6 Upside Dawn & 6 Run Wild, 12 Pack, 12 FL Oz Cans

For the past three years, my wife and I have been taking part in "Dry January". The two years prior to this were a challenge for sure, but it's a great way to start the year and a great practice in self-discipline. This year, I heard about Athletic Brewing on a podcast and thought, "Why not give it a try"? My initial impression was that non-alcoholic beer could never taste good, but boy was I wrong!!! I was blown away after the first sip. As a craft beer lover, I couldn't believe how authentic, rich and full-bodied this beverage was. As we near the end of dry-January, even though I'm excited to have an alcoholic brew again, I have a new found love and appreciation for what this brewery has to offer. I now have options for weeks where I want to reduce my alcohol consumption, while still having the option to have a great tasting beer. 10 out of 10!

I’ve recently started drinking N/A cocktails, wine, etc. because of the medicine I’m on, which doesn’t allow me to drink alcohol anymore. I’m usually a wine drinker but I’ve really been missing the taste of a nice cold beer! These beers are SHOCKINGLY accurate on flavor and consistent with what a alcoholic beer would feel/taste like in the mouth. My boyfriend, who is a 10 year sober recovered/recovering alcoholic, said “you could of told me this was a real beer and I would have believed you!” The IPA is not TOO hoppy and is a moderate IPA. The golden is reminiscent of a blue moon but lighter. Both are absolutely delicious.

Taste: If you're used to a 5%-6% ABV then this beer will taste nearly identical. If you're used to a higher ABV and you'll miss the booziness at first, but keep drinking and you'll be happy with the trade off. I'm having health issues but realized that my daily IPA wasn't just about booze; it was a comforting flavor. Athletic was recommended by a master brewer friend and did not disappoint! Price: This is $3 cheaper per 6 pack locally at Trader Joe's, but it is the same price the brewery is selling it at, so it's technically a fair price. I have bought here, direct, and at TJs. No difference in product.

I got the combo pack, so that I could try the Run Wild NA IPA and the NA Upside Dawn. They are both REALLY GREAT for NA beers (I would rate them 5/5 for NA beer, and 4/5 as stacked against regular beer for the IPA, 5/5 for Upside Dawn). I thought I would like the Run Wild IPA better (because that is what I usually drink in regular beer), but I REALLY liked the Upside Dawn - it is crisp with a very slight citrus finish. It will be GREAT for summer!! That said, the Run Wild IPA is crisp and hoppy, but I prefer the Lagunitas NA IPA, flavor-wise (for me). If you are looking for flavor, and want to cut down your alcohol consumption, you cannot go wrong with either of these. I will definitely be ordering them again.

I ordered these beers after reading an article in the New Yorker that favorably mentioned Athletic Brewing and these beers in particular as well as one other I have not been able to find. Local stores do not carry them or were sold out. Ordering was easy and these non-alcoholic beers arrived quickly. I do not like to drink alcohol during the day, so we drank a few cans while watching football, l and they tasted just like “real beer.” Perfect with Braun’s and burgers. We much preferred the Run Wild IPA — richer flavor — and plan to order more to serve at our autumn barbecue lunches. A bit more expensive than everyday beer, but I highly recommend these beers and the seller.

The IPA tastes like an IPA. I wish Athletic beers were availalble at bars and restaurants so I could have one or two alcoholic drinks and switch to Athletic and continue enjoying good beer without any more alcohol. The price tag seems a bit high at $28/12, but that's less than you'll pay per beer at a bar. Bottom line, I was impressed. I enjoyed the IPA quite a bit and will be buying more.

I have cut out alcohol post pandemic and feel so much healthier for it. These are a fantastic alternative, the flavor is shockingly close to the real thing. Only 40 calories

I recently went non-alcoholic, but I love the taste of beer, so I did a little research and a couple different lists said that these were some pretty good na options. I've been excited for a couple days about their arrival and cracked one pretty quickly after its arrival. The run wild was very bitter with a really strange but distinct flavor that I'vetaste somewhere before (not in a beer). The bitter flavor isn't that unusual for a strong ipa (even though I dont particularly prefer it), so I thought I'd try the golden (I got the mixed pack) and it tasted EXACTLY THE SAME. I was looking forward to a nice non-alcoholic wheat beer and a nice ipa, instead I got what seems to 12 of one not 6 of each, even though they're in different cans. Still can't figure out what the lingering flavor and smell is though. Maybe it's the nature of the beast, but I like the Sam Adams na option better so I'm sticking with that from now on. The Only the Haze is a real treat.

I enjoy quality microbrewery beer but find it makes me fat and the alcohol is counterproductive to my fitness lifestyle so I bought this “near beer” and another quality maker. For those unfamiliar with these new brands of beers- don’t compare them to the benign tasting cheap near-beers you find in grocers. Yes these and other quality makers are much pricier but then again - microbrews are more costly than lousy beers with little/no hops or richness like Coors etc. This beer is full bodied - it’s as good as quality microbrews - without the ill health effects I’m a fan.

This is the first time I have tried Athletic Brewing IPA. I have tried over 40 different types of non-alco beers, lagers etc. Really enjoyed this and probably up there with the best. The price is set at a relatively premium level but the quality of the product shines through. Fab flavour and has some power to it notwithstanding that there is no alcohol in it (less than 0.5%). I will be ordering again and urge you to give it a go.

I love a post run beer maybe even more then the run itself. This stuff has helped me keep that beer clean. Tastes like a real alcoholic beer (especially the IPA) and the lager is very refreshing. Highly recommend, I’ve always resented buying non alcoholic beer but this has changed my view

Super refreshing and satisfying. Could drink these all day. As a former drinker I missed the taste of a good beer and this hits the spot and then some. Would love to see the price come down a little so I can drink more :)

I was not expecting such an excellent AF beer. If I had to compare it to a regular beer, I'd say it tastes like a fruity budweiser. Amazing. 10/10!! Thank you
