Exceptional Sharpness & Fast Focus — Wow!
This SIRUI Sniper 23mm F1.2 lens has completely upgraded my Sony APS‑C setup. The image quality is razor-sharp across the frame—ideal for portraits, landscapes, and everything in between. Autofocus is surprisingly fast and accurate, even in low light, thanks to the F1.2 aperture. That wide aperture also gives beautiful background blur and gorgeous low-light performance. The build feels solid and premium, solidifying its place in my bag. A standout lens that punches well above its price — highly recommended for anyone shooting with a Sony crop‑sensor camera! Value for money: Very affordable lens for the quality

Outstanding lens for a budget price!
Do not let the price fool you. This is a solid lens that performs very well. I use this for wide video shots at comedy shows I record. The autofocus is solid, I really cannot find a complaint. It works as well as my 24mm Sony GM lens. A fast lens great for low light situations. I have used it for some still photography. No issues. Great results.

Best budget prime lens option with stunning image quality
This lens is not the fastest or most accurate when it comes to autofocus, but it performs at a reasonably comfortable level for everyday use. It’s good enough for most situations, just don’t expect top-tier AF performance. Sharpness is solid, but the real highlight is the image quality. It produces a truly beautiful picture, especially for portrait photography. I was hesitant about f/1.2 lenses because of the typically shallow depth of field and often poor sharpness when shooting wide open. However, this lens performs impressively at f/1.2, delivering a good level of sharpness while also producing beautiful background blur and bokeh. I’m really happy to see this level of image quality on my crop Sony a6700. I also appreciate the 67mm filter thread, which meant I didn’t have to buy new filters or adapters. That’s a small but very practical advantage. The weight feels comfortable, but the width is less so. The space between the camera grip and the lens is quite tight, making it a bit awkward for fingers to fit comfortably. Overall, the image quality and character easily outweigh these minor downsides. It is worth every dollar spent on it.

Ok…
Super light which is good especially for gimbal work. 1.2 makes for good bokeh if that’s your style. 3 stars because during a wedding it just wouldn’t focus at times. Which was only after 1 use at a previous wedding

great lens small hickups
the auto-focusing from the a6400 tends to be a little off. maybe it's the camera idk. The color aberration is very noticeable from the lens in the camera. overall a great lens

Far better than expected for Zoom and WebEx. Professional results
Crazy, I really had doubts with this lens. First, I'm using a Sony A-6100 as my body and this is my setup for Zoom, Webex and Slack. It sits about 36" from me in my chair and about the distance of monitor screens, maybe a bit more. That also means that this is mounted and the camera is not moving. The autofocus was on of my concerns because indoors with lower light and a 1.2 speed lens could prove problematic. It has not and frankly exceeds other lens in focus and focus transition, which is surprising smooth. At first I stoped it down to 1.4, but over the course of days and now months, I'm back at 1.2 because the look is very good for my use. I need to be honest, this lens is expensive and if someone is looking for a cheap solution to video conferencing, there are other options. However, is you are looking for the very, very best and professional look in your video calls, this is exceptional. I bought this lens at least 6 months ago now and it has been running every workday without issue. I can only speak to this use case, but I think this lens fits the need better than everything else in the small grouping of lenses out there.

Exceptional value for money - Near FF look on APSC
Love this lens. F1.2 APS-C delivers a near-full frame look. I have shot stills with it on my A6700 and my filmed using the FX30s commercially. Whilst there isn't an aperture ring or a CF button, it is still a well made, not too bulky in size, Lightweight, fast prime that is not only quick off the mark for focusing. but delivered a decent focal length with balanced contrast. I also have the Full Frame 85mm 1.4 Auroura which is quite spectacular for the price.
