muck boot edgewater
Swift delivery as always with amazon.I have used Muck Boots for many years as mud is plentyful where I live.Neoprene lining is a must as my feet are happy in them.Really warm on cold winters' days and totally waterproof in the rainy season. I'd chosen model "Tay" in the past but this time I opted for the Edgewater. The "Tay" lasted 3-ish years of heavy use and it'll be interesting to see how well this model will stand the the wear and tear.First impression, very comfy and lighter than the Tay,also a little cheaper which always helps. Will update this review in 12 months' time.Ok,here's the update a year on.These boots only lasted less than a year and are now dangerous to wear in muddy conditions, have gone A over T too many times recently so in the bin they'll go! No tread left , no grip whatsoever. Also, the tread runs horizontally only ie from 3 to 9 o'clock etc etc something I hadn't observed when I made the purchase. Regret buying them as no longer fit for purpose ie daily dog walks in all terrain. Positives: toasty warm, waterproof and still in good condition other than the soles. A year on I'll give 2/5 only.Am now on the lookout for a another pair :)

Warm, comfortable and very durable
These wellingtons are warm and very durable. I walk in all sorts of weather and terrain and they are marvellous. I wouldn't buy any other make.

easy to take off by myself
I've only used them twice so far, but I walk miles over rough, wet moors training search and rescue dogs and can be lying out there for hours in all weathers being a "dead body"My feet were dry and warm all evening, although the temperature wasn't that low this week. They were very comfy to walk in, easy to take off by myself, fitted over my thick trousers. They are a bit large but that leaves room for thicker socks when the weather gets colder.I'm vey happy with my purchase so far.

Very comfortable, my toes came to the end through so maybe a little on the small side, but uncomfortably so. They have plenty of width. Water proof so far and good in the mud

A Great Pair of Boots
Getting a pair of wellies that fit your particular foot is a hit and miss affair, the perfect fit for my mate Dave could be a total disaster for me. Working on the principle that a pair of wellies for a fiver probably don't fit anyone, I investigated the upper reaches of the price bracket and invested in a pair of Hunters. Beautifully made boots, but not my perfect fit, so when they gave up the ghost after a long, hard life I decided to try Muck. Bingo, I'd found my wellie soul mate! Again, beautifully made boots but this time I've got the perfect fit too. As I say, you have to shop around to find a good fit and you're unlikely to get it from recycled motor tyres but, for me, the Muck Boot ticks all the boxes and is a beautiful boot............to boot.

Very comfortable and worth the money
I ordered a size larger than normal as advised by a friend and they are perfect as long as I wear thick socks. One boot rubbed my angle bone on the first 2 wears but after then they were fine and very comfortable. They are great as the leg material is stretchy so fits snug onto the leg. I have wide calf muscles so struggle to find wellies that fit properly. Much more expensive than I would normally pay for a pair of wellies but now that we own a dog, they will get a lot of use and I hope they should last a long time so well worth the money.

Essential for folks who care for horses and donkeys
I had coped using wellies for years in looking after my donkeys and horses. I bought these because of the unusually low sale price. They are a revelation.Grip, waterproofing, warmth and lower leg and foot protection in one. I will never muck out in all seasons again without a pair of Muck Boots.

It was love at first fitting with good comfort and warmth every morning trudging around the fields but there it ends sadly. After 9 months of fair usage a large split across the top of the boot made them useless and they have been resigned to the local tip. This is not the first expensive wellingtons that have gone this way but I was advised to buy my boots from the likes of Dunlop or Goodyear where they use a higher grade rubber for the build. I am happy so far with the £30.00 Dunlop boots I own and if they go down I shall not be as upset as I am after getting a short life out of a £70.00 plus pair

Orginal doch besser

Best boots ever.
These boots are awesome. Perfect height, support, and protection. Everything I was looking for and more. My father-in-law has a pair of the chores and bought these because they were a little taller so that little snow or whatever would fall inside. Also, because these are 100% waterproof they also feel to be warner which is an added bonus. Easy slip on and off, which is great because they are mostly dirty or wet by the time I come back in the house. So stoked about this purchase.

Couldn't Ask For Better Boots!!!
When I first received the boots I had to refrain myself from writing a review just commenting on the utter manly-rugged-beauty of these boots. They looked amazing. I ordered an 11, yet they were a bit snug for my taste, as I wanted to be able to fit some thick socks in them during hunting season, so I sent them back thanks to Hank's free return shipping (thank goodness), and got a size 12, which were really too big, which led to some slippage by the heel, but the sizing problems should not deter you from buying these boots. My feet usually don't like to cooperate in these matters anyway. The function of the boots themselves is to what? Keep your feet dry, comfy, warm, and protected from the various terrain you may find yourself in. These boots ACE everything in every one of those categories! As far as warmth, well, sometimes I wish they had an internal thermostat so I could keep my feet cooler on these warmer days of spring, but when winter was here, they were beyond perfect. As far as sporting and outdoor activities, I have only been fishing in them so far, but they have been excellent for everything I have encountered. Several times when wading in the creek or pond I will step someplace that I believe will finally conquer the top of these boots, but the water has yet to overcome these boots. If you're in limbo between the 15 inch or the shorter version, I would suggest the 15 inch as these boots will roll down easily for convenience or comfort. Overall, these boots have been a great buy, and I would have no hesitations in buying another pair after these wear out, if they ever do!!!
