Is the melt water from the ice recycled to make more ice or do you have to drain it?

What are the dimensions of this item and is there an extended warranty available or necessary since I see no information available?

There wasn't one available and it's definitely necessary. Mine failed at 12.5/13 months and I got no help from the company. Save your money and get a different product.

how reliable are these? I had a smaller version by another company it failed in a few months?

I've gone through 3 units in just over 2 years. The first two lasted about a year each. the last one has lasted just under 3 months and is making a grinding noise from the compressor. This is the only countertop version that makes square ice, not bullets. I'm not throwing away another $150 to replace this one. Time for bullets.
