These are only OK quality. They appear to be cast rather than machined from billet. You can actually see this if you look closely at the picture on the listing. The corners are rounded and not crisp like a billet milled part. This is probably not a killer defect for most users. It is probably fine for cost oriented users or for casual uses like paintball or airsoft. Also, the finish appears to be paint. Not anodizing or powder-coating. This is also not a plus feature. So I'm removing one star for the cast construction and painted finish. Not terrible but not what we've come to expect from a product of this type.

It worked
It worked,fair price,its cast,not machined,but no sharp edges,fit well,I like the thumb screws,instead of the Allen head screws on others.Now I'm able to use my open sights,as well as my red dot sight. I put it on a highpoint 45 carbine.

Solid piece of equipment
Seems like a good value for the dollar. Works perfectly for my application. All the machining and dimensions are spot on. If I needed another one, I would buy one of these again.

Can't beat it for the price. Well build. Easy to install/remove
This riser is well build yet still light weight. It comes w larger nuts which make it easy to install and remove. This helps when out in the field and you need to remove it due to defective sight/dead battery/etc. Be aware that quite a few iron sights already come with risers so you can avoid seeing your front sight. For the few sights that don't come with it, this is the perfect solution.

Not as pictured!
They are NOT the same part as pictured! Edges are rounded not SHARP. Slots are Not uniform. Also PAINTED. Your mount or rings will not grab the lips flat, secure or level. Vendor should update photo of their product instead of using someone else's photo!!! Waste of my time driving to UPS to return these.
