This stuff is a revelation. I have a litter of pups at the moment, the vet bed absorbs the pee away from them and never feels wet. I have tried other bedding, towels, etc and that is when I have realised just how amazing this stuff is as everything else feels damp in no time. Its is bulky to wash but it dries really quickly. I wish I had been aware of this many puppies (babies?) and old dogs ago, and will be using it in all my dog beds from now on.

A kind customer drew this bedding to my attention recently when I mentioned the difficulties I was having keeping my 17 year old arthritic housecat warm and dry. Easily cut to size with no shedding, this bedding is so warm, thick and comforting for her, placed inside her igloo and works with or without the pet heatpad. I'd begun to find that despite all the vet could offer by way of medical intervention, my cat more frequently urinates outside her nearby litter tray causing her igloo bedding to become soiled by wicking up and retaining the excess moisture. This vet bedding draws the moisture away from the surface, keeping the animal dry and I can machine wash, dry and refit this vet bedding within 30 minutes. A great find, and I'm most grateful to the girl who recommended it to me, who uses it for her disabled rabbit. Highly recommend this vet bedding.

Perfect for whelping box . I bought this because my girl was ‘digging’ in the whelping box which had towel and blanket in it initially but the puppies were at risk of being sent flying in the loose material . The vet bed is not nonslip but the box has no bottom to it so the sides are holding it down and there is no problem with the odd bit of nesting from mum now . It is also a perfect consistency for the puppies to her traction on . I have not washed it yet ( as we are still at ‘mum cleaning up stage’ ) so can’t comment on how it stands up to that . If it washed well it will be good value but if not it will turn out to be quite expensive so I can’t put more than one star

The only crate bedding my dogs have not destroyed! Comfortable and warm. Washes well. Fits crates perfectly. Both my dogs dig them and flip them over but no fluff has come off and they haven’t ripped so very safe. Good value for money.

this is a simple cushioned matt .I used these years ago i haven't a clue why i stopped as they are perfect for the job. My dog has destroyed everything else but not even damaged this comfy easy to clean and warm for a great price .excellent

Bought the Large 36" crate for my mini dachshund pup (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09ZF2DH8C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) in the hope that one of my other dogs would join him in the crate (no such luck). Pup loves it, despite it being too large for him. He moves around a lot at night, so plenty of scope for creeping around. Covered the crate (top, sides and back) with an old blanket, to make the pup a secure den. Easy to assemble and made of nice, strong metal. Bought a medium waterproof base (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073TVYPV1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) for the crate. Had to remove the foam and trim about 5cm from the length and width. Put it back in the waterproof cover and it fits the base perfectly. No leaks! The cover is washable. The foam is not but as yet, the foam has remained perfectly dry, despite some big accidents. Topped the waterproof base with Traditional Grey Vet Bedding (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07DRG3H21?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1), which keeps the pup dry when I don't make it on time for the 2 hourly nighttime wee. Bought a 2m x 75cm roll so I could cut two bedding mats for the crate. I was left with two smaller pieces, which I just use in the "play area". When washing, I put the mat in a net washing bag and it does not cause any issues with my 9kg washing machine. Air drys quite quickly, although it is summer, which helps. All in all, the pup sleeps well and has on occasion gone into his crate for a chill out, without prompting.

An excellent product; how I wish I had discovered it years before. Washes well time after time and is quick to dry. May be cut to size / shape easily PROVIDING sharp quality scissors are used.. Stands up well to abuse - has withstood the attentions of a very destructive and determined Vizsla puppy (now 5 months old and approx 16kg). That written, the puppy is able to rip off small tufts of fleece, BUT it requires considerable effort and he is only able to tear out a little bit during an attack which does NOT effect the integrity of the rest of the bedding - nothing else in the house has offered such excellent resistance (unfortunately). NB: I have bought large quantities in rolls - I suspect that these rolls come from larger rolls which have been cut in half; one side of the roll has a grey backed area bordering the (pictured) green. This grey border is approx 3" wide and is NOT as strong as the main green backed bedding & is more easily destroyed so I cut it off & throw away. I suspect this will not be necessary once the puppy outgrows his destructive stage, but meantime it does mean paying for a small portion of bedding which I can't use. However, in spite of this, I think the product very well worth the money; fancy dog beds can cost a fortune but frequently do not last...

Works ok, definitely the puppy feels comfy in it. But it is not completely waterproof, his pee seeps through the floor. Otherwise washing it is easy.
