THE compact car camping solution!
This is amazing!! I can't believe the clever design! I bought the large-new option, and it fits perfect on my 2022 kluger. Awning looks small in photos but feels huge when you're under it! (Can't get pegs in my driveway so used bricks for test setup). Perfect for a chair and small table. Buy some seam sealer while you buy this, the gear aid seam sealer on Amazon has best reviews. The instructions advise sealing seams to waterproof them. If you're setting up by yourself in the wind, when pulling the straps towards the mirrors, close one in a side door to hold it, then tie the end of the other to the bag of pegs and toss over the other side. Then it's weighted and will lsgay there while you walk around- then you can pull that strap to the mirror then go back to the other. Maybe invest in some magnets or sticky Velcro dots too, I found a few areas under my car that needed to be pulled closer due to odd shaped, to prevent mozzies. I would advise buying proper poles, these are great for your first use but seem like they could bend or snap under pressure. Also consider that to close completely for privacy, you need to take down the poles. Otherwise you have a mozzie screen to just zip closed and enjoy a breeze. It also packs down SO small, you can keep it in the car all the time! I usually also put slip-over window sunshades on my doors, to act as mosquito nets so I can also have the windows down ;) Put a carabiner in the lock latch of your boot so you can lock it while the back is up- this way no opportunists can easily open any side doors.

Car camping necessity
Set up is easy. Fits well to 2014 RAV4. It creates privacy while giving great ventilation and prevention from annoying bugs. Great for car camping.

Almost perfect
This car tent seems almost perfect, but it has a few issues. The zipper is decent, but I wouldn't say it will hold up for a long time. When it arrived, it wasn't perfectly aligned with its teeth, and I've had to adjust it already. My Ford C-Max has a slight contour on the sides, which makes the tent not fit perfectly around the edges. I plan to use some strong magnets along that area to secure it better and utilize part of the packaging to hold it tight, preventing bugs from getting in. I believe this will work. Another concern is that the nylon rope strings that came with the tent are unraveling. I must burn the ends to keep them from completely falling apart. This detail should likely have been addressed during manufacturing before shipping. However, since it wasn't, I'll need to take care of it myself. Aside from the zipper, the ropes, and the loose areas around my car, I think the tent is very well made. The stitching appears solid, and I can't find any flaws in the material, which is what I expected. The good news is that I bought it during the Prime Days sale and saved 40%. Overall, I believe it was worth the money I paid, and I'm pretty pleased with the purchase. It was relatively easy to set up the next time I put it up. I think I can do it within 5 to 10 minutes. I like the shade it provides, and I like the design that covers the entire roof, giving the car a little protection during the heat of the day and preventing rain from sliding in under the joints near the tailgate. Regarding its durability, I estimate it will last 5 to 10 years, which would be great. I've paid much more for tents, only to have strong winds damage parts of expensive name-brand equipment. At this point, I'm not overly concerned about wind or rain. I hope the zippers hold up and I can find a way to seal the edges to keep mosquitoes out while I sleep. If I can manage that, this will be a fantastic purchase.

BUY THIS - Amateur campers
101/100 WILL RECOMMEND! Just an amateur camper here but I cant say this enough - BUY THIS. Price was worth it, easy to setup and dismantle, sturdy enough for a fair windy day, fits inside the bag, fine quality material for a basic camping adventure, was enough to protect us from the drizzle, sunlight and wind!!! SUPERB PURCHASE if you're planning to be more advanced with your camping adventure maybe look for more expensive ones. But this one is top tier for basic campers.
