Amazing product so easy to use simple to connect easy to read always get the correct temperature I personally love the fact it has a torch for night time so you can do the kids temperature without having to wake them cause let's be honest we don't want them awake especially if there poorly another thing I love it you can track the temperature of each family member this has been Amazing when our little one is super poorly as both adults using the thermometer can see all the history on the app as its stored each time fantastic bit of kit cannot recommend enough

The Braun ThermoScan® 7+ Connect has been excellent. The Bluetooth feature makes it super convenient — all readings are stored in the app on your phone, and it even gives guidance on when you might want to contact a doctor, which is a nice touch. I’ve found it to be very accurate, and it connected to my phone first time without any hassle. It’s easy to use, and I’ve had no issues with setup or daily use. One quick press and instantly you get a reading of the temperature. Since I’m the only one using it, I keep it on the adult setting, but it has options for different age groups. You can also set it to silent mode if needed, though I personally don’t mind the beep — it just confirms the reading’s done. The app itself is clean, straightforward, and easy to understand. Reliable, smart, and well-designed. Definitely recommend if you want a modern thermometer that does more than just give you a number.

Mate absolutely useless. I’m not one to give up easily and am good with technology…. I tried numerous times to get this connected to the app that it pairs with…. It just would not pair with each other at all, kept failing. Also item came missing the 21 hygiene caps that should have been included too. Waste of time and patience. Returned item

Very good thermometer Not many things I can say it is a good quality and the Bluetooth helps keep tra k of the temperature when you have a sick one in the home. The plastic feels a bit cheap for the price but the job is done very well

This is a great thermometer which is quick and easy to use — you literally just put on a probe cover, pop it in the ear and get a reading within seconds, which is ideal, especially if you’re dealing with kids or just want something simple and straightforward. The display is nice and clear (as you can see in the photos), and I really like the different colour modes depending on the temperature recorded. The pairing with the app was also straightforward, which was a big plus for me. I’ve had a slightly older Braun model before that just refused to go into pairing mode, so it’s great that this one connects easily to my iPhone and actually works as intended. It also comes with a plastic storage case that it sits in, which keeps everything together. It is also handy that spare probe covers are included too. The only downside — and the reason I’ve knocked off a star — is that the included batteries were already low (the battery warning started flashing the first time I turned the unit on) which is disappointing for a brand new product. Overall though, it’s reliable, quick, and easy to use, with the added bonus of good quality app connectivity.

This is brilliant! Great material quality. Quite stiff to pull out the case, was worried I was doing it wrong and that there’s some buttons to press but no, you just pull it out from the end of the thermometer and then push it back in afterwards. Not sure how it gets power yet as it turned on straight away (possibly batteries somewhere) Came with extra ear caps for hygiene. Connects to an app which is very informative about fevers, other symptoms you have, medication, medical appointments and gives you advice about if you should call a doctor, it also stores multiple temperatures for different members of the family. Prior to this I was just using a cheap no touch thermometer but I wanted something more for core temperature and this definitely does the job. I know it’s quite expensive but it really is worth the money to have that peace of mind and to possibly save a trip to the doctor or a&e. As it comes in a case, it is an open case so just be careful of where you store it but it is easy to get a harder more solid case so you can take it on the go.

From previously working in a nursery, Braun are always a reliable choice for ear thermometers. I especially love this “connect” one as it’s easy to track temperatures and the app allows for input of medication, so everything you need to track and remember is in one place! Such great peace of mind and saves you having to input temperatures and times into your notes.

Brilliant thermometer. Readings are really quick and so accurate, bonus is you can track it using the app on your phone. Not just for babies either, it has a night mode which has a light and it goes into silent mode and takes 2 AA batteries. Incredible thermometer and a must have for your little ones. Gave me so much reassurance after my baby had her vaccines as a first time mum.

Quando metti in funzione il termometro Braun Thermoscan 7+ hai subito l'impressione di trovarti davanti ad un prodotto ben progettato. Display e tasti funzione chiari e intuitivi, quasi che potresti farlo funzionare senza leggere il manuale. Anche l'app dedicata, Braun Family Care, è molto ben fatta, intuitiva e funzionale: abbinamento bluetooth con lo smartphone facile facile come la creazione dei profili di tutta la famiglia. La misura è velocissima e questo aspetto rende lo strumento molto efficace. Se si vogliono misure precise ed accurate occorre prestare attenzione a due aspetti:1) utilizzare sempre un cap nuovo per ogni misura; 2) imparare ad inserire correttamente la sonda nell'orecchio puntando il timpano. Una confezione da 40 cap costa mediamente 5 euro, quindi è un costo sostenibile. Lo strumento, giustamente, non funziona senza cap, per evitare di sporcare il sensore e pregiudicare la precisione e affidabilità delle misure. Molto pratica la funzione notte che attiva una luce color ambra che non disturba e disattiva gli avvisi acustici. In questo modo si può misurare la febbre ad un bambino riducendo il rischio di svegliarlo. Pro: facile, veloce, efficace, preciso, affidabile. Contro: richiede accortezze come la sostituzione del cap ad ogni misura e lo sviluppo di una certa manualità per essere preciso e affidabile.

Ich muss zur Zeit häufig bei mir selbst Fieber messen, da bei mir abends das Fieber regelmäßig ansteigt. Meine Suche nach einer passenden Messmethode entsprach einer regelrechten Odyssee, an deren Ende das Braun ThermoScan 7+ connect stand. Zunächst benutzte ich ein billiges elektrisches Standard-Fieberthermometer. Die lange Messzeit von bis zu 1 min unter der Zunge störte mich, außerdem das manuelle Notieren der Messwerte. Also liebäugelte ich mit dem Beurer FT 95 Bluetooth. Warum soll ich mir im Ohr rummachen, wenn es auch kontaktlos über die Stirn geht? Ergebnis: Das Beurer FT 95 lieferte manchmal verblüffend genaue Ergebnisse, manchmal zeigte es aber auch statt der realen 39 Grad 40 Grad an - lustig… Also sind diejenigen, die im Ohr messen, wohl doch nicht so blöd. Ich kaufte mir ein billiges Ohrthermometer. Schon besser, aber öfters mal gab es gar kein Ergebnis, oder es gab Unterschiede zwischen dem linken und rechten Ohr, außerdem kein Bluetooth und somit auch keine Datenübertragung auf das Handy. Und nun kam nur noch ein einziges Thermometer in Frage: das von Braun. Zwar das teuerste weit und breit, aber jedesmal die Hoffnung, dass sich endlich mal ein namhafter Hersteller nicht auf seinem guten Ruf ausruht - und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Es ist, wie wenn man in eine andere Welt eintaucht: unheimlich schnelle Messung, wahrscheinlich aufgrund der Sensor-Vorheizung auf 34 Grad. Dann als nächstes: keinerlei Unterschied zwischen linkem und rechtem Ohr. Wenn man das einige zig Mal erlebt hat, ist man bereit, auf die zweite Messung zu verzichten. Und dann natürlich die Datenübertragung in die App und Visualisierung in Diagrammform: ein Diagramm sagt mehr als tausend Worte (oder Zahlen). Im Moment weiß ich nur nicht, wie ich Diagramme vergangener Tage zurückholen kann, um sie meiner Ärztin vorzulegen. Ich behelfe mir, indem ich Bildschirm-Hardcopies anfertige. Und nun meine Kommentare zu hier geäußerten Kritikpunkten: Jedes Mal ein neues Hütchen verwenden. Ich bin kein Mediziner, aber lasst euch nicht von dem Fachausdruck der Kreuzkontamination in die Defensive drängen. Solange ich immer nur ein und dieselbe Person messe, gibt es doch keinen Grund, das Hütchen zu wechseln: Wie soll ich mich mit einer Krankheit anstecken, die ich bereits habe? Anders ist es vielleicht, wenn ich zwischenzeitlich gesund bin. Es gibt auch keinen Zwangsablauf, wonach das Starten einer neuen Messung nur nach dem Wechsel des Hütchens möglich ist. Desweiteren habe ich bis jetzt keine Einbußen bei der Messgenauigkeit feststellen können. Wie auch? Das Plastik des Hütchens schützt die Linse, und falls es mal verunreinigt sein sollte, kann man es an einem Stück Stoff wieder sauber machen. Die wollen halt Hütchen verkaufen… Zweiter Kritikpunkt: Das Display leuchtet so hell, dass man nachts geblendet ist und das Ohr des Kindes nicht mehr erkennen kann. Kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich bisher nur an mir selbst gemessen habe. Aber es gibt ja die Taste mit dem Mondsymbol. Wenn man die drückt, geht doch vorne tatsächlich ein Licht an, das in Richtung Messspitze leuchtet. Aber vielleicht sollte man in diesem Zusammenhang die Displaybeleuchtung dimmen. Dritter Kritikpunkt: Man muss vor j e d e r Messung angeben, ob es sich um einen Säugling, ein Kind bis 36 Monate oder jemand Älteren handelt. Wenn man immer dieselbe Person misst, nervt das natürlich. Aber man kann sich ja wie folgt beruhigen: - Das auf dem Kindesalter beruhende Farbkonzept der Age Precision Technologie ist ein zentrales Thema bei Fa. Braun. Dadurch, dass man das immer wieder selektieren muss, gerät es nicht in Vergessenheit. - Vielleicht ist es auch Beschäftigungstherapie für den Anwender, damit er nicht merkt, wie lange das Aufheizen des Sensors auf 34 Grad dauert. Bei den Rettungssanitätern und in den Krankenhäusern wimmelt es nur so von diesen Braun-Thermometern, allerdings ohne Bluetooth (das brauchen die nicht), ohne Farbe (wenn eine Krankenschwester von Bett zu Bett geht und Fieber misst, kann sie nicht jedesmal aufs Neue selektieren, dass es sich um einen Erwachsenen handelt) und ohne Sensorvorwärmung (dauert zu lange und geht auch auf die Batterie). Übrigens: Ein offensichtlicher Nachteil von Ohrthermometern ist natürlich, dass jedesmal das Ohrenschmalz, das ja vom Körper langsam nach außen transportiert wird, wieder in den Gehörgang zurückgeschoben wird. Ich habe gute Erfahrungen mit einem Otoskop-Ohrenschmalzentferner gemacht. Fazit: Das Fieberthermometer ist zwar dreimal so teuer wie andere Geräte, aber es ist jeden einzelnen Cent wert, sowohl was Design, Genauigkeit oder Liebe zum Detail anbelangt. Hier hat jemand mit Erfolg versucht, besser als die Konkurrenz zu sein.
