Best bird cage around.
Amazingly massive birdcage, loads of room. Well worth it. No problems with build. My only slight complaint is that it only comes with one perch, could do with another one.

Very impressed with the cage. Opening it up from delivery, noted only a couple of very minor dings on the metal work; one part had taken a sharp blow to the frame that bent it outward which was no factor to putting it together. Worse part of assembly was the middle upper section; thank goodness I was tall enough to do this. Could have done this without assistance, but, so much easier with a second pair of hands.Only drawback I see with the cage is the food/water cups; they are rather small in diameter. At 4 inches in diameter, and 3 ¼” deep, it kinda forces the bird to reach in unless you have both the food and water up high enough; a lot of birds are not very comfortable where their head is confined like that. I much prefer the wider, shallower metal bowls that another cage has (4” wider by 2” deep). And the doors for the bowls are just big enough for the supplied bowls only. A wider bowl will not physically fit if you what the doors to also open and close.Putting the cage together was a snap with the above upper middle part that I mentioned above being the only challenging part of the assembly. Construction of the cage is very good, sure to withstand almost any beak attacks. Bars may be bent being the worse that I can envision. Cage is designed for large birds, not for parakeets. The casters that come with the cage are well sized; the cage is able to be moved around easily with little effort in pushing it. BTW, I know others have mentioned it, but this cage is HUGE. It’s one thing to measure it out in your head, but seeing it my house was another! Big Wow factor.Having an Umbrella Cockatoo, I am always concerned with strength of cage parts. So given that the bars are the same size as the previous cage that I had used I had little concerns wrt overall strength; now that it’s in my house, I have no concerns as to the cage being able to keep him inside until I let him out. But as to the survival of that soft wooden perch that came with the cage; well, it has lasted a week so far, but its thickness is less than half of what it started out with. Should be no surprise there to anyone who has parrots…Overall, I’m very impressed with the cage and the price that I paid for it. The shipping was well managed by Amazon; delivery was given as being between 9 to 12; it was in my house by 9:15. Wow! See if any cable company will match that! If you have the room for a cage this large, I would recommend it to anyone who has large parrots; they deserve the largest cage you can provide to them.

Detailed Review - Cage Purchased for Galah Cockatoo
I purchased this cage as an upgrade for my 2 year old, fully flighted Galah. Her old cage was 40 X 30. The box did arrive quickly and with just a few torn patches with no damage to the cages pieces. This is somewhat expected for these large cages. I am 5'4 /105 pounds , female and put the cage together by myself in 1 1/2 hours. I suggest that you unpack, lay everything out and then assemble. Instructions are very clear and if you have done this before...you are good to go. Use your couch and cushions to prop when you are attaching the body of the cage. It works well.I did have a bit of trouble when attaching the top pieces to the base because one of the holes was off a bit. After a few minutes & WD 40, I got it in. The upper cage, wall pieces are softer metal and did concern me a bit. My cockatoo isn't a huge chewer so I am not too concerned. Her old cage just feels stronger - all over and it is from A&D Cages. The top took me a minute to situate. I stood on a high bar stool and eventually got it on. Having two people would be nice. Ha!My bird seemed to love the cage and climbed all around and way up to top. I started the process of perches and toys and realized that the bowl set-up is very different from other cages and it is a head scratcher. They is little space near the bowls to install your perches and the bowls are VERY deep. Please be aware. I need to buy a few new ones to accommodate this cage. BIG washers......go buy about ten. You will need them when you add your perches. Get the really BIG ones. Let's talk about the bottom grate. The grate spaces are very large...much larger than the old cage. My birds foot slipped through and now she won't go to the bottom of the cage. I will just give her a bit of time. The cage is huge and such a fun space for your birds to play. The price right now is good BUT it was super over priced up until recently. I would recommend it if you don't have a large bird that chews heavily. Good luck!

Great cage for the price!
We are fostering a blue and gold macaw who stresses his feathers, so we are hoping a spacious cage with plenty of toys will distract him from himself. This cage has the most cubic feet per dollar compared to any other cage out there. This cage is definitely spacious - over 60 cubic feet. The door is nice and large, so it is easy to get the bird out and back in. I’m now sure how Amazon is able to offer it at this price, but this cage is hundreds of dollars less than other cages. It is not an ornate cage and is slightly boxy, but we were willing to sacrifice appearance for the extra space and lower cost. The cage was not difficult to put together. The directions were clear and easy to follow. It took two of us two hours from start to finish, including adding perches, toys, and lining the tray. There was one hole on the front that didn’t line up perfectly, but we were able to force it into place. (To be clear, we are no strangers to putting cages together.)This is not the world’s sturdiest cage. Bar spacing is comparable, but the bars are not the thickness, weight, or quality of our other large-bird cages. Our foster is pretty chill and more interested in what’s in the cage than the cage itself. If you have a bird who likes to cruise the cage checking for weak spots, keep looking - this cage is adequate for most birds, but it would be no match for a bar bender or an escape artist. The powder coating seems fine and is attractive. The seed catchers have rounded corners, which is fabulous. As with most cages with seed catchers, there is a disappointing waste of space between the grate and the tray. The tray slides out easily for daily paper changes. The tray is huge and is difficult for someone small of stature to carry, but we put in at least a week’s worth of layers at a time, then slide out the tray and dispose of the top layer each day.The front latch is interesting, with a push-button release. The handles on the food dishes spin all the way up and seem secure. The stainless steel dishes are large and deep and the bird loves them. The first time he drank from his new water dish, he said, “Yum!” three times in a row! For the life of me, I can’t imagine why they didn’t put a fourth door and dish. Another dish can be added next to the third dish, but I will have to reach in to retrieve the dish.Keep in mind that this cage is tall. If you don’t have high ceilings, you likely won’t be able to let your bird climb around on the top. Due to the height, there is no play stand on top. Since our foster has a separate play stand, our goal was to provide extra space for when he is in his cage. The height is such that the cage will not roll out our sliding glass doors. We will have to tip the cage on its short side and carry it out. Since it’s not as heavy as some of our other cages, that is very doable. We are well satisfied with our purchase, especially for the cost. The bird is happy and loves the extra space, and that’s what counts the most.

Great value!
Great enclosure for my macaw and so much space! Metal gauge isn’t extremely strong so it may not be suitable for more aggressive large birds as they can easily bend the metal if they want too. Definitely worth the price!
