Not as indestructible as you would think!

Our 2 year old 46kg Labradoodle has just chewed the end off the first one of these we bought which lasted over a year. Its made of rubbery material which has been very durable, and the flavouring seems to work as the dog does spend time licking it. He has another Nylabone which is the really hard plastic type, and that has also lasted well, but this is the preferred one - for now at least. Recommended.

Rubbish toy that was delivered much latter than promised. 5 mins with one small dog and it had bits coming off it and as its not edible and should not be ingested i had to take it away, Expected more from the manufacturer and supplier.The description is a complete misrepresentation in every way. Nylabone Strong Tough Durable none of these apply to this dog toy waste of money.

I think this is a good product, but for some reason my dog won't chew it. The only chew toy he won't chew. He is an agressive chewer and has hundreds of nylon and rubber bones, wood chews etc but he hasn't touched this. ?

Bulldogs have such strong bites that most toys are quickly chewed through. Chew toys need to be soft enough to where they don't chip or shred into fragments(Like most "extreme" branded chew toys tend to do). This "Strong" chew from Nylabone is the best I've found so far. Lasts about 1-2 months sometimes more and that's with it being chewed on most days for at least 30min, and some days for an hour or more combined daily.Since it's soft enough teeth can get into it, but no fragments start to come off until about a month in. Then you may see small rubber pieces starting to become loose(Not falling off, but these pieces can usually be cut off with scissors).Our boy can usually eventually nearly break off/tear one end of the bone after a few months but this is gradual, and we are able to see the toy deteriorating before he is able to get a full piece off. That's when it's time to toss it and get him a new one.Really goes into a trance sometimes chewing on this, so the flavour/satisfaction is really something.As long as you stay vigilant, it can be a long lasting toy that lasts quite well for its price.

Dogs love these, they are bouncy so when they drop them etc doesn't make aloud noise that the solid ones do 😀

My tiny little 10 month old cavapoo had this in pieces in five minutes. Poorly made.
