They didn't think this through... The mount either block the battery cap or the power button. Returned it.

I got this mount to take some vertical videos that can be easily posted as reels on social media platforms and watched through a smartphone. The traditional horizontal format is not ideal for this application, since only a small video would be visible from Instagram/Facebook.With this mount, I can use the full frame of my GoPro, instead of shooting an horizontal format and then crop it vertically, which would lead to a lower overall resolution.The mount goes on very easily and it's very solid once mounted, thanks also to the two pins that lock it in place using the two lateral holes in the GoPro "fingers" when they are folded down.The construction seems very solid in all metal (Aluminum) and it's also very light. Pretty happy so far!PS: you need a set of "fingers" that have a 1/4 inch tripod-like screw in the middle, since the orginal GoPro fingers don't have the 1/4" screw hole.

This is a very simple but very functional little accessory for GO Pro Hero Black users. It attaches quickly and lets you mount your camera vertically. The mount is reversible so you can use it on both sides of the camera. Does one thing and does it well. Recommended!
