High quality and easy to use
I bought this for my peach tree but the spikes to grab the fruit cut into the soft peaches. However, this device is so cool I’m going to try putting thick rubber tips on the end of the spikes to see if that helps. I was surprised at the quality compared to the price. The extender poles are thick enough for this purpose, and the nylon tube that the fruit rolls down in should last many years (assuming the manufacturer keeps the same quality as the one I purchased in 2024). I keep my fruit trees short but there are enough extender poles to reach a really tall tree, and the overall weight of this gadget is light enough that it shouldn’t be a struggle to hold the basket that high. The nylon tube comes in sections that zip together to extend with the pole. The harvest bag is good quality and is big enough to hold a significant amount of fruit. In the video, the guy has the fruit stop in the tube, then he fills the bag after a few fruits. This was good advice because my fruit didn’t just drop 5-6 feet and hit hard on the other fruit, so it kept the bruising down. The basket is big but I’m guessing it was designed to pick small and large fruit. Everything comes apart so it’s easy to store for the winter.

Easy to Use
The handle of this fruit picker is made of stainless-steel poles which is sturdy for heavy duty. Its handle is divided into 10 extension poles that can be screwed to connect to the required length. It is flexible to adjust the length to fit different heights of tree. The full length of the handle is up to 13 feet. The long handle allows you to grip the trees nearly 20 feet. The fruit picker has a large basket with 6.5 inches diameter that makes the fruit picking easier. Moreover, it’s a wise design for adding collection tube and bag that avoids taking fruit off the basket for every grip. With the tube, the picked fruit can be directly slid down the collection bag. The tube is connected with different sections by zippers. The total length of the tube is about 17 feet. For easy movement and convenient pick up of fruits, the length can be adjusted by connecting the required sections of tube. The end of the tube is connected to a collection bag that has staples for wearing on front. The picker is not heavy and durable. With this fruit picker, I don’t need to climb up a ladder to pick the fruits. It’s really a useful and convenient tool for my fruit picking. However, I prefer the basket a bit smaller so that it can be easily passed through intensive branches with less obstruction.

Works great
Where to start with this fruit picker pole? It’s got 10 separate pole sections, which means you can customize the height as you go, making it perfect for reaching those high-up fruits without the awkward balancing act. The tube that catches the fruit is made up of several zippered sections, and the zippers are sturdy and smooth—no wrestling with stuck zippers, which was a huge relief. What I love most is how you can just set the tube up with the bag that’s designed to wear as a front pack or backpack, but instead of wearing it, I just place the bag on the ground. This way, I can stroll around the tree, grabbing apples from the lower and mid-level branches, listening to the satisfying sound of the apples sliding gently down the tube without a single bruise. It’s so much better than the older designs, where you had to carefully lower the pole and hope the apple didn’t fall out before you got it down.Usually, getting apples from the top branches means dragging out the ladder, having someone steady it, and tossing apples down to another person—not exactly a one-person job. But with this setup and just a step ladder, we were able to pick most of the high branches without all that fuss. The best part? You can position the end of the tube into a large bucket or basket and let the apples fill up as you go. It’s so efficient—I felt like I was filling bushels effortlessly. This tool really makes the whole fruit-picking experience feel less like work and more like a fun, simple harvest.

Great for home harvesting
These made harvesting our back yard pears a cinch. We have around 20 pear trees and they can get a bit tall. I've tried a variety of pole pickers and this one with an extendable tube is actually a fair bit easier to use, as the fruit basket doesn't have to be navigated through branches and leaves with a full load and you can go onto the next fruit immediately. It's pretty solidly made and easy to use. You do want to be careful with the fruit caught in the bottom sagging part of the loop, as the next fruit incoming will smash into it. You want to make sure it's in the main bag first. This is also easy to breakdown and store away.

Genius!
Where to start? First off - this fruit picker pole comes with 10 separate pole sections, so we can extend the height as we go. The tube that the fruit slides down has several sections too - which is so convenient. These tube sections have zippers and those are sewn in well. We didn't have any sections that wouldn't zip/unzip without difficulty.I discovered that if I use the entire tube with the bag that is designed to wear as a front pack or backpack, BUT PUT THE BAG ON THE GROUND, I can walk around the tree getting apples from the lower and mid range branches without having to carry it. I can hear the apples sliding down the tube, and they don't get bruised because of the way the tube is designed. With the tube - I don't have to try to get the pole down with the apple still in the basket without dropping it, like the older designed ones.I usually have to climb a ladder - have someone hold the ladder and toss the apples to another person in order to pick the upper branches, but we were able to get most of the with this and a step ladder. This tube works well to put in a large bucket or basket (think bushels here) and just let the apples fill up the basket as I go.
