Absolutely gorgeous visuals. I could have looked through this for hours. I got it for my mom and she was over the moon. I admit, the outside was slightly cheap looking. But maybe because I’m comparing it to the picture I have in my head of a crystal or glass one my grandma used to have, ha. But it’s pretty enough, not too heavy, and just incredible to look through.

Great creative/arty gift associated with a time long ago.

This kaleidoscope is so cool! I had a really well made, beautiful one when I was a kid, maybe 7-9 age that was a triangle shape and had two parts you could insert to change the view, in pink shades and blue. I loved it so much, I spent so much time turning it. Those were different times, where one could experience long, arduous times of boredom and it brought me so much joy. It was so simple. Point is, I’m hoping to give my kids a similar childhood, so I decided to get one for them. This one is amazing. It’s so intricate and there are so many colors and patterns. It weighty, and looks like a treasure. It gives that sense of awe when looking at all the pieces transforming. Such an interesting invention. Thank you.

The paint quality and durability is a bit low, the design of the paint is that great... the pieces that should be glass are plastic and a bit cheesy looking. So the price is kind of high for what it is. Overall though, it's a beautiful piece and fun to use (with adult supervision if bought for little kids).

This is a wonderful kaleidoscope. Because the two discs rotate separately, there are a million different possibilities of patterns. Our grown up daughter never grows tired of it.

It's nice enough that I will keep it but it's overpriced given the plastic pieces on the 2 color wheels and the overall design. I find it awkward that the 2 wheels drop out of position as soon as I take my hands off. They aren't centered so gravity requires you to hold them in place to continue viewing a specific image.
