I was looking for something a bit more interesting than a plain sweater or pashmina-style shawl to throw over my shoulders on cool spring evenings or when certain establishments are a bit overenthusiastic with the A.C. in summer. My favorite way to wear it is as a shrug - it doesn't fit snugly like a traditional shrug, it drapes around the shoulders for a very retro look. Great for travel because of its versatility - it can also be worn alone as a top, halter style (follow the instructions for the vest, then button it up in the back. That particular style option might not work for all women, especially if you are larger than average in the chest), and can help you double the wardrobe options of a strapless, spaghetti strap or low-cut dress if you need to be a bit more demure (especially in Europe, where some historic sites like churches will require you to cover your shoulders); it rolls or folds up easily for packing or to stash in a medium to large purse or bag, without wrinkling. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that its acrylic blend does tend to show wear a bit more easily than other fabrics, so keep that in mind and treat it gently. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great for traveling.
