Can I use them for gaming

They work like any other wired headphone. If your gaming device has a 3.5mm audio jack it will work.

So... the gold one... all plastic shell now?

It feels like metal more than plastic. They're decent fitting. The cord makes it hard for them to stay in my ear. I have moved on to dfferent ones.
