4pk Premium 100% Pure Cotton Yarn (400 Grams) Soft, Breathable, and Versatile Medium Worsted Weight (23 Orange Red)

I have both knit with it and crocheted with it. It is fun to work with, it feels so good on my hands!It can be splitty, moreso with knitting than crocheting. It isn't difficult to deal with nor is it a deal breaker, it is just something to be aware of. If you're a beginner, pay attention (and hopefully your yarn color isn't dark) and you will do fine.

I'm using this cotton to knit up a market bag (Knit Market Tote, free pattern on Yarnspirations). The yarn is softer than some of the more readily-available cottons out there, so it isn't quite so rough on my hands while working with it. That is something that I have found with other cotton yarn in the past, is that my hands get really dry and rough if I work with it too long.I love the pastel-y purple of this, though it shows up looking blue when I photograph it with indoor lights.The ball band suggests knitting with a US4 needle, but this pattern calls for a US6, so that is what I used. It knits up fairly well, but the yarn is really splitty (16 ply). This is not yarn I can work with in church or somewhere that I want to be paying attention, as I definitely do need to be looking at my work to ensure I get the whole strand. Not hard to do, as long as I'm not trying to knit without looking at my work!I have not tried crocheting with it, but I do think that would require a bit more focus.For that reason, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this to beginners.The yarn is great though. I am about halfway through the second ball of yarn, and I have not had a single knot or thin spot. I'm getting a nice, consistent fabric, and it is fun.

This cotton yarn is very splity. It looks like it’s individual threads wound together to make a yarn thread and while I was crocheting with it, I messed up and had to go back to redo a stitch because the yarn split, and I ended up splitting the yarn to where it caught on the hook and tangled up or it would split and some strands was caught on the stitch before or after I made a double crochet or single crochet stitch. If you can overlook all that, the yarn works up like a lightweight airy piece with it being good for the summer and wearable and breathable. It is soft which is nice for it being cotton yarn, and it seems to be durable. So far, I managed to make a small portion of a skirt I’m crocheting it’s coming out the way I want to make felt for having to stop and redo some stitches over due to the fact that it’s a split type of yarn but other than that, I think the color is great and just like the picture, a nice peachy pink color good for the summer.

This yarn has a nice blue color. The yarn itself is a little but thinner than I would have hoped.

This yarn is incredibly soft for cotton, so at first touch you might not even realize it's cotton at all! It's a truly stunning color. But most importantly you should note that it's 16 ply! This means it's a LOT of individual strands so you really need to make sure you're using an appropriate sized hook or you'll have a terrible time using it due to it unraveling.

I love the color, texture, and value, however, it splits like crazy. I wasn’t even halfway through the first skein and there was a poorly joined portion of the yarn. I had to take it apart and put it back together.

This is a 4 pack of medium worsted weight cotton yarn. It is 16 ply but not twisted into a single strand like most yarns. May not be good for beginners. I made one 7.5 inch washcloth and it used about half a cake. Each cake is about 100 grams and 180 meters.It is soft and looks great when worked up. Love the soft yellow color! Label does include recommended hook and needle size as well as washing instructions. Machine washable which is always great!
