This closet is very nice for being portable. The sizing is really good, the fabric is durable, and easy to put together. There is a step by step video provided which really came in handy, for the written instructions are difficult to comprehend. I will purchase another closet in the near future and highly recommend for others.

Fantastic choice for the price. Don't expect too much -- there are of course compromises. But the pros: - Extremely resilient bottom sheets - Actually has a cover, with anchors to keep the opening/zipped front window's shape while still allowing free sliding movement - rods are decent metal; not extremely heavy duty but also better than plastic. Can easily handle heavy clothes. Has ties at corners to prevent cover from sliding upwards - overall design is lightweight which helps with moving, if needed Cons: - the fabric cover is very thin. Don't expect it to break if used as intended, but don't expect it to endure rough handling either - zipper is bad (as is the case with many things of this price range). I've found leaving the bottom few inches zipped still allows me enough room to do what I want - they provide a hammer, but it's useless due to lack of weight. You're better off pressing with your body weight - I've built HUNDREDS of various furniture (old job). These are among the lower end/worst instructions I've read. If you aren't the intuitive type who can't derive intent from a non-descript picture, them make sure you keep double checking orientation of the pegs and other misc things (like the hooks that are meant for the cover on the very last step)

This required some physical strength to assemble, as the bottom shelf liners required quite a bit of stretch to allow the plastic struts to fit properly into the connectors. The assembly diagram was also very small and unclear, so it was practically useless. But the main problem was that some plastic connectors were missing and assembly could not be completed. There is no way to contact the seller directly to get the missing parts, only an email address that they may or may not respond to. This means that the entire unit will have to be returned unless the seller has some way to get us the missing parts. This is too bad, as the product itself appears to be well thought out and sturdy, if only all the parts were there. UPDATE on May 4, 2026: We emailed the vendor about the missing pieces and they responded promptly to our email. The missing parts had to be sent from China, so we were really surprised at how fast they arrived - within 2 weeks. Given the current global political climate, we weren't expecting to see any parts at all sent to the USA. Very pleased at the great customer service and very quick response. Increased the original rating to 4 stars. The only downside to this product is that the assembly diagrams were very small and hard to see, and the fact that the missing pieces delayed final assembly by 3 weeks. This is otherwise a nice sturdy closet and a bargain for the price.

I really like the portable closet. I choose to use it for my light weight spring/summer clothes.it has 4 divided sections which made it perfect for my use. The 8 bottom shelves very useful for folded shorts and light weight pants. It was very easy to assemble, my 8 year old granddaughter was my helper making it a great bonding moment. I also purchased there VTRIN enclosed shoe cabinet which I haven't made up my mind yet as to use it for shoes or storage of more spring/summer folded shorts and pants. The area in my bedroom was also a very good fit and it looks amazing. I think I 'll end up storing my cowboy hats on top of the unit because they are also light weight. I haven't used the side pockets for anything yet besides one rolled up belt. Mines is very sturdy, just took our time and paid attention to details.

The instructions were sparse and confusing, but the real issue lies with the components themselves. While the metal tubing felt adequate, the all-important plastic connectors—the structural linchpins of the entire unit—snapped at the slightest pressure. I had to reinforce several key corner joints with tape just to get the main frame upright. The components simply do not fit together securely, leaving the structure wobbly and listing dangerously from the start. Stability and Capacity: The Catastrophic Collapse The central purpose of this wardrobe is to hang clothes, a task it fails at spectacularly. After carefully placing about twenty items—standard shirts and light jackets, well below what I believed the unit should handle—the central hanging bar visibly bowed. Within two days, the entire frame was listing dangerously to one side. When I tried to adjust the weight, the fabric shelves tore where the support poles inserted, and the bottom rod finally gave way, sending the entire stack of folded clothes into a heap. This is not a heavy-duty or even a medium-duty storage solution; it is a temporary display stand for the lightest possible garments. This VTRIN model is destined to become landfill after its first attempt at performing its advertised job. Sadly I am past the refund request window for amazon returns. I didn’t expect this to be a 90 day disposable product.

I recently purchased the Portable Closet for Hanging Clothes and have been very impressed with its convenience and versatility. This product provides a simple way to add extra closet space wherever you need it. The closet is lightweight and collapses down into a compact carrying case. This is great for extra storage for a few light items. Otherwise, it is not useful for a permanent closet as it cannot hold much weight mainly because of the plastic parts. This closet broke down on me after a few months of use. Initially, it was leaning forward. I thought it was due to the weight so I took half my clothes out. Even after I took more than half of my clothes out, it was still leaning forward until eventually it completely fell over. I put it up again, kept it light but it was still leaning forward and eventually the plastic parts broke and the whole thing collapsed.
