Once I started building this, I could not stop. It was so incredibly satisfying to click and glue everything in place and look upon the final result. A super special and perfect way to end the rough work week I had.The lighting is super easy to install, the touch pad works perfectly and the bulb has such an adorable glow at nighttime. The value for the price is honestly worth it, in my opinion. It's detailed, intricate, and so long as you are patient, delicate, and trust the process, I believe you will be as pleased as I am to look at it when it's done! Even if you make a mistake and place something wrong, it is not too hard to undo the click and try again! Just pay real close attention to the instructions so you dont have to take the bookshelf apart like I did, lol. 10/10 would recommend! Be sure to have small scissors and glue before you start and some AAA batteries for the light!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife, but I knew she wouldn't be into assembling it. So one night I pulled it out while she was away and my 14 year old daughter helped me put it together. She really got into it, and we had two quality hours working together on it. I'd say an adult should be part of the assembly unless your kid is experienced building detailed models. There were some small parts that needed finesse. But overall the assembly went smooth. The ONLY thing we used that wasn't in the kit was some super glue. I recommend the bottle with a brush in the cap. You just need a little dab on a few of the smaller parts. Most of the kit clicks together with little wood tabs. We were impressed with the detail and the precise laser cuts. I was worried it would be low resolution printed, but all the wood pieces have a durable, detailed print that almost looks like paint. It's also not too glossy, which helps with realism. The finished product is very satisfying, with lots of details to look at. The little light is a warm white color and good for a night light. We will definitely be buying these as gifts.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️By far the best miniature kits out there. I started with Rolife but they are all over the place with their kits, you never know what you’ll get as far as directions or stable pieces. Cutebee knows what they’re doing and their products prove it. Every step of this bookstore was fun. The packaging is immaculate and the design is so impressive. Normally, when a kit comes with lights that need to be connected, I skip it. It’s always either too difficult to figure out or the wires come defective. Cutebee makes it easy but yet you still feel accomplished once you complete the process. By far the most sturdy kit I’ve come across, perfect fit and size, and zero missing parts. I look forward to purchasing many more kits.

I had a lot of fun putting this together. The instructions were easy to read and understand. I was worried that I might break some tiny pieces, but they were quite sturdy. Some fragile pieces even came with “spare parts” just in case. The only thing I would have added would be glue. Several times in the instructions, I was told to glue pieces, but I wasn’t given the glue, or told what type of glue to use. I chose super glue, and had middling success with it.

I have tried so many different brands of miniature kits and have ended up abandoning them because they were too frustrating. Not this one! It went together like a dream. I was able to finish it in about 3 hours. It turned out so cute! All of the pieces are so well crafted and milled. They fit together perfectly. You will need some glue and I recommend an X-Acto knife to scrape off a few of the rough spots. But other than that, what you need is in the box. Also, the directions are a little confusing about where the touch part of the light goes, so come back and watch the videos people have posted here. It was a 5 minute, fixable problem. I would say for people 14 years or older. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend! I had so much fun, I'm off to buy their other kits!

Assembled this during Christmas break with my teenager. It took us roughly two hours from start to finish while watching a movie in the background. We are classic book lovers in our family and you’ll often find us perusing bookstores wherever we go. We even make it a point to find bookstores while on vacatIon to find a vintage book as a souvenir. This delightful bookshop will add a fun piece of decor to our home library. We appreciated that extras of some of the smallest pieces were included in case any broke during construction, though we didn’t need any of them. Pieces fit snuggly and were measured precisely. Glue is not included, but we already had liquid glue on hand. A pair of scissors is handy to have available, as well. Assembly instructions were clear and quality of materials were better than expected for this price point. Lighting works well and the door to replace batteries (not included) is designed with a swinging door and locking mechanism that is unique. Would purchase from this company again.
